Chapter 26: Are We Dating?

*Sakura's POV*

This one week was amazing! I can't even describe how I felt when Sasuke kissed me back, it was one of the best feelings!

We talked about everything, how he and I felt and later we went back to our friends and family with holding hands and everyone was jumping in glee. I could see my mom and Mikoto wiping tears in joy. I kind of heard Mikoto-san saying something like 'YES, TAKE THAT FUGAKU, I WON!' to Fugaku-san while Itachi and Naruto showed thumbs up to Sasuke.

Ino was also going out of her mind, if she had one, she would definitely be waving a banner where our ship name would be written.

I was feeling joyful, we kissed on the christmas night and after that we've been talking but,

Are we dating?

Seriously, like, none of us have said anything about that, he hasn't called me his girlfriend and I haven't called him my boyfriend.

On every class, we would glance at each other, he would always smile genuinely whenever no one was looking and it made my heart fill with love, but seriously, are we dating?

This is the question I need an answer of. Immediately.

"Hey forehead, do you want to go to my place after the school and study?" Ino whispered while we were on our geometry class.

I was too busy staring at Sasuke who was sitting next to Neji a little far from us. He noticed me and smirked while my cheeks turned bright red.

"Yeah, yeah, we get it, you guys are madly in love but can you listen to me, forehead?" Ino said with a laugh and I glared at her. She gave me 'What?' look and again laughed.

"Sorry pig. I'm busy today." I answered.

"Quiet, girls!" Our teacher, Anko Mitarashi said and we apologized.

Ino found the other way to communicate. She gave me a piece of paper and I opened it.

"With what?"

I wrote back. "I have to talk to Sasuke, but if he'll be busy then I'll come."

"Ooh! Are you guys going on a date?"

"We haven't been on a single one! And actually, I want to ask him something."

"Ooh, tell me forehead!"

I rolled my eyes but still wrote, "I have to ask him about us. We have only talked after our kiss but nothing more. We haven't even kissed after that and nor did we say that we were dating. So, I want to know what's going on between us."

"Hmm, you're right. You have to talk to him, but I sense a little nervousness, you okay?"

"Mhm, yeah. Just a little nervous about what he might say. I don't want to force him or something." I wrote to her truthfully.

"Oh hush, forehead! He loves you and you're not forcing anything! Just you see, you guys will be an official couple after today, I know it!"

I smiled at her and mouthed 'Thank you'.

After the bell rang, I stopped Sasuke before he went on his next class.

"Hey," He said with his charming smile and I felt like I could melt at that exact moment.

I snapped out of it and said, "Can we talk? After the school, in the park at the cherry blossom tree."

I think he was nervous? "W-why?"

"Ohh, umm, I just have something to talk about to you."

"About?" He asked.

"Us. About us." I answered and he nodded. He waved me goodbye and went to his next class while I went to mine.

Finally, when the lunch break came I went to sit next to my friends in the cafeteria. Sasuke kept glancing at me but I kept it cool and he then let it go.

"Guys, I have an amazing news!" Kiba yelled when he put his phone down.

"What is it?" Temari asked.

"My girlfriend, Tamaki is coming back in Konoha!" He said and we all smiled and congratulated him.

Kiba has been talking about his girlfriend non stop and finally she was coming back here.

"Is she going to attend in Konoha high?" I asked.

"Yeap! She might be in our homeroom class." He grinned. "Oh, and Hinata, she sent a gift for you, I'll give you it after the school." Hinata smiled and told him to thank Tamaki for her.

That's right, Hinata's birthday was few days ago and her father allowed her to have a little gathering in the house. All of us were invited and it was pretty nice party.

The bell rang and we all stood up. "C'mone forehead, we have medical classes with Shizune-san." Ino said to me and we both walked towards the class.

"You have to show me the project at the end of the week." Shizune-san said after the bell rang.

"So, are you ready for your meeting with the Uchiha?" Ino asked when we exited the school.

"Nope. Not even slightest." I said but still went in the park.

Oh kami, help me.

There stood Sasuke, waiting for me, his brows furrowed, when he saw me he smiled faintly and I smiled back.

"Hey." I said and he greeted me back.

"So, what did you want to talk about? I mean, about us." Sasuke spoke and I took a deep breath.

"I know we've talked about what happened and about... About our kiss, but there's still something that keeps me wondering..." I felt my cheeks go red as Sasuke's gaze stuck on me.

"Hn, what?" I hope I imagined the hint of pain I've heard in his voice.

"Are we dating?" The question seemed to take Sasuke back. Certainly, he has been waiting for something other.

"I-I-I don't know." I stared at his eyes as he stared at mine.

"I-I mean, we've kissed a-and I do love you, but I don't know, do you love me? C-cause I want nothing more than to be with you-" Sasuke stammered and I cut him off with a kiss.

I broke the kiss and smiled at him. "Of course I love you! And I want to be with you as well!" He smirked and kissed me.

"Then you have your answer," Sasuke whispered. "We are dating."...
