Elton's POV

Today's a pretty day. There are dark clouds in the sky, it's raining. Everything looks gloomy. I love it.

"What if I go for a small walk?"

I asked myself. Smirking, I got up, got dressed in some warm clothes, gave my lovely friend Circa a goodbye kiss and left the house. Oh, how the sky looks gorgeous. I immediately thought of snapping a picture, to remember this moment. Satisfied, I started walking towards the big "scary" forest, as some may call it that way. It is kind of terrifying, I'll give it that, but not that "scary" to start making up tales about ghosts or stuff like that.

As I was busy judging someone else's opinions, I bumped into... someone, I think?

"Ow, watch it man!"

I heard someone shout from below, I looked down and saw him. A man, his hair was tied up in some kind of a man bun, slightly bearded, wearing a black jacket, underneath it was a black hoodie with some writing on it that I couldn't decipher. He also had black sweatpants on that also had writing on it. His big, round eyes were glaring at me with those stunning brown pupils.
I grew concerned for him, so I asked

"A-are you alright?"

I gave him a hand to help him get up. He reached out and grabbed it, thanking me in return.

Corey's POV

When I got up, I got the chance to look at this strangers face closer. As I was about to get a clearer view of him, I felt a sharp pain go through my leg, more precisely through my ankle. I didn't react to it, because I didn't want him to worry. When I got closer to him, I saw how truly beautiful he is.

He had a fully grown beard, a black dad hat, a really nice looking black coat paired with a red hoodie and black pants. Don't even get me started on the eyes. Just know that when I saw them, I went speechless. Take that how you want.

I noticed that he was grinning at me. I almost fell back at the fact that I was staring at him for a long time, I don't know for how long.

"You still haven't answered me."

I felt as my face started to get hotter and hotter, I knew I was blushing, I just hoped he wouldn't notice.

"Huh? O-oh, sorry! Yeah I'm alri-"

I felt the pain get worse, so I squirmed.

"Jesus your leg!"
"What? It's not that-"

I looked down.

"... Bad."

You could see a wet patch on my sweatpants, it probably was blood... but how could it happen?

"It's probably just a scratch, nothin' more."

I tried to reassure him because I didn't want him to inspect it, but he wouldn't even listen. It's just a random stranger, right? Why would he care for me that much?
Why?

Elton's POV

I noticed that a blood spot has appeared on his sweatpants, on the place where his ankle is located. As I got closer, I noticed that he started to shoo me away from inspecting it, but I didn't listen to him. Fastly, but carefully, I got a pack of tissues, pulled out two and started to clean his wound. He winced at the touch, but soon he calmed down.

After finishing, I got up.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't want to hurt you like that!"
"W-what? N-no, everything's alright, you don't have to be sorry."

I kind of stared at him in, like a shock, maybe? That was my answer. I noticed that he started to feel uncomfortable, so I broke the eye contact.

"Uhm, yeah. Oh, I almost forgot. I'm Elton. Elton Castee."
"Oh, I'm Corey Scherer."

I heard this name before, could he be the Corey Scherer my friends were talking about?

"Umm, this may be a weird question to ask but, do you know two guys named Corbin and Brandon?"

Corey's POV

There's NO way that I just bumped into the same guy that Brandon and Corbin were talking about, AND he even KNOWS THEM?? HOW

Ok Corey, calm down.

"Yeah, do you know them too?"
"Yeah I do. They were talking a lot about you for the past weeks."
"Same here."

Wait. Did they want us to meet...? Really?? But why?
When I was asking myself these questions I noticed that Elton has... vanished. I turned around to find him and I was successful. He started to go to the big forest that I am not so fond of. To be honest, he looked kinda sketchy, but not too sketchy.

"Are you going or will you be standing there all by yourself for the rest of the day?"

I heard him shout. Quickly turning around, I said to him to wait for me, which he obeyed. When I got to him, we started to get closer and closer, which didn't make me that happy.

As I have mentioned, I don't like this forest. I'm not into big dark forests that probably had some rituals done in them by some witches. I mean, I like ghosts, but when it gets too scary I usually stop and run as far away as I can. I do go to places, with Corbin and Brandon, that might be connected with paranormal, but I try to not antagonize the spirits that try to just chill.

"Do you really think this is a good idea to go into this forest at an evening?"
"It's just a normal park for families. I know that this forest is accused of being haunted, but in my opinion it probably isn't. But if it is, maybe we'll see some witches or ghosts, who knows?
"Don't you even dare say stuff like that!"

He chuckled at my response. I rolled my eyes before laughing too.
