A light gust of wind passed, the sun shone warmly down on us and his eyes looked deep into mine.

"I love you," he said with the most beautiful smile in the world.
"I love you too," I replied, which widened his smile. How can a person be this perfect.

We sat on a bench under the most beautiful chestnut tree I've ever seen. Nobody else comes here. He showed me this place after we had been together for 2 years. Now it is our common place.

"Why do you love it here so much, I mean there are definitely a lot of abandoned places. Why exactly this one?" I've always wondered that since he showed me this place.

"Why do I love it here? The most important person in my life always came here with me, when i was a child."

I looked at him confused. "Who was that person?"

"Well" he picked up one of the fallen chestnuts. "My mother. We found this place together." He smiled.

"I have to say that the chestnut tree wasn't always so magnificent. "he opened the chestnut shell and took out the shiny brown chestnut.

" we came back every day and looked after this tree, after a while it started to grow splendidly again and we thought about building a bench here. When we were done we wrote our names on the bench and made this to our place. "

he threw the chestnut away and ran his hand over one of the wooden boards, whereupon two names could be made out. He smiled and I looked at him with a sad face.

I couldn't believe it, he shared the most important place with me and made it ours. His mother was really everything to him and after she passed away he was devastated.

Meanwhile he can deal with it, but that I was so important to him that he brought me here was probably the most touching reason.

"Wow, I didn't know that. I love you so incredibly much." A little laugh escaped his mouth "I love you more my angel. I am so happy to have you."

He got up, took my hand, and pulled me up. He spun me around and just as I looked in his direction again, he was gone and all I saw was the bench under the chestnut tree, where he once sat with me in his arms.

And that was the moment when I realized that his death would be an eternal burden on me and that I could never love anyone again as I did him.
