(I just wanna say before you start reading that this is the longest story I have ever written, and I hope you'll also come to love this story as much as I do. I really had fun writing this one. Happy reading 💓)

"Where are you, Y/N?! We gotta go now! Meet us back in Abaddon. All right!?" You ignored the voice over the earpiece and just continue running to wherever your feet's bringing you. The whole place is dark considering that the sky is raining, and is also already one in the morning.

"Answer me, Y/N—"

"Just go, Senju." You cut her off with a deadpan tone.

"Fine! Just hurry up. Step on it, Haruchiyo!" That's the last thing you hear of her before the call ended, and by that time you're already entering a dark alley way that will lead you to the next street. You halted on your track when you hear voices not far from where you are.

Sticking your body on the wall, trying to hide yourself from them, you watch their shadow walk away and their voices eventually fading, indicating that they were just passersby. That's when you decided to come out and continued running again until you stop on some kind of a pet shop. You checked your surrounding, and when you think that it's safe, you placed the weapon you're holding down and sat outside the pet shop.

"Shit." You cuss, the injury in your arm caused by the fight earlier bleeding out more, staining your sleeve. Damn. Two years of retiring from this kind of job, they just had to call you for a favor, don't they?

Napabuntong hininga ka at sumandal sa glass wall ng shop. The rain got heavier and it only made you groan in displeasure. You hate the rain, you hate how it reminds you of all the bad memories.

You hate it to the bones.

Chifuyu, working overnight for some paperworks, slouched back to his seat and stretch his limbs. Napabuga ito ng malakas na hangin at napamasahe ng ulo. Kailan ba kasi babalik si Kazutora at Baji? They've been gone for 2 weeks for that 'little business trip' they had to take care of.

"Lunatics. They just make sure that they have good excuse for this." He tells himself and stood up to open the mini fridge inside his, Baji's, and Kazutora's pet shop. As he was about to fetch out a beer, his hand stop midair when he heard someone outside the shop despite the heavy rain.

It looks like someone sat outside the shop.

Anyways, he ignores it and just proceeded in opening a beer, walking back to his seat and continuing the loads of paperwork. Chifuyu really tried to focus, but when he heard something from outside the shop again, he's been bothered. Sino ba kasi ang tatambay sa labas ng shop sa ganitong oras?

Hindi na niya napigilan kaya tumayo siya para sitahin kung sino man ang nandoon. He pushed the glass door open to get out, and in that moment, Chifuyu really thanked his delinquent life before for giving him such amazing reflexes to help him avoid the kunai knife suddenly going his direction.

"Whoa!" His heart literally stopped beating. He was too stunned to say something when he met your eyes that was looking at him coldly, your hand pulling out the other kunai knife that was in your thigh holster.

"Woah! Stop! What the heck?!" You ignored him and throw him the kunai again, which he dodged by docking low. Chifuyu has never felt something like this before— this feeling of fear when he saw you standing up from sitting beside the shop's door, and damn! You have this big ol' black and red scythe that
has three extra blades at the end in your grip.
