Y/N's POV 

The feeling of discomfort and cramping wakes me up from my state of slumber. I try and open my heavy eyes and look at the time on my phone, it reads 2 am. I sigh and swear under my breath. This happens every month, my period somehow always wakes me up in the middle of the night and starts on random days and its always a struggle to fix the mess and go back to sleep. I look to my left and see y/bf sleeping peacefully next to me, his mouth slightly agape. His arms wrapped securely around my waist which makes me smile. Even when he's sleeping he always does his best on making me feel protected. I try to get out of his hold without waking him up, but considering he's such a light sleeper he awakes. 

"You okay, baby?" he asks sleepily, his eyes slightly peeking open. 

"I'll be okay, I think my period just started" I state and continue to get up from the bed to check to see if it went through the sheets. Sure enough, of course it did. 

"Did it get through the sheets?" He asks and I sigh in frustration. 

"Yeah, I'm sorry y/bf" I say and he gets up from the bed and comes over to me, giving me a kiss on my forehead. 

"Don't worry about it, baby. Go ahead and get yourself situated, I'll get some new sheets and throw these in the wash" he says beginning to take the sheets off the comforter. I smile to myself happy that I have such an amazing boyfriend that takes such good care of me, even at two in the morning. 

I go into our shared bathroom, changing into a new pair of underwear, a pad, and a new pair of sleeping shorts. I go back into the room to see y/bf laying down in the bed and see a glass of water and a bottle of ibuprofen on my bedside table. 

"I got you some medicine from downstairs, I know how your cramps get bad enough that you can't sleep. Can I do anything else for you?" He asks so sweetly. I shake my head no with a smile. 

"No, but thank you so much baby. This means so much to me" I say and swallow my medicine. I climb back into our shared bed and cuddle up close to y/bf, letting out a sigh of relaxation 

"How you feeling?" he asks and he starts to slowly rub my back which makes me start to feel sleepy once again. 

"Much better, thanks to you" I say as my voice starts to drift off into sleep. I can hear y/bf chuckle and feel his chest vibrate. 

"Anytime, I love you y/n" He whispers and kisses me goodnight.
