Shade picks me up from the bed "Hey no!- I can walk myself" I say with a little fustraction he looks at me his voice goes back to being soft "Your still healing remember, i will be making sure you are staying safe around your upper body" He walks out of the room carrying me, I look around my house to see where the broken window. All of a sudden shade shakes a little and i look behind him and he has wings attached to his back "w-woah" i say under my breath, he looks at me and smiles "you like them?" asking me as if he wanted me to look at them to distract me. "yeah their cool and i've never seen anything them before" he carefully puts me down on the couch and takes a step back "Well where were going your going to see a lot of things you've never seen before so you may want to get used to it"
I tilt my head slightly out of confusion, we were going somehwere? i thought to myself he folded his wings to his back and went into my room again. Well since i was on the couch i was able to see my backyard and to my surprise the crushed flowers that were once there laying broken on the ground were growing healthy and planted around the yard. Did shade really do all this? But why he said he was like a butler but i didn't know he was going to help me this much, I look back and shade was walking back with a bag "what's that for?" I ask him looking at the bag "you'll see in just a bit" He says as he gives a soft smile. He picks me up and walks out of the house flapping his wings going up in the air, we soar through the sky; I look at the view from where we are in the sky and i like how nature looks from this point of view. "i can get used to this kind of view." It was quiet while for a while flying over the forest, when I thought the forest near my house was pretty the new forest we flew over was even more beautiful."Welcome to your real home Night"
As we flew to a really giant tree there were half human half animal everywhere and seen shade holding me. They followed us to the tree and stayed at the bottom of the stairs. Shade landed on a crystalized pattern on the floor, he was careful not to move me so much. "Welcome home" he whispered in my ear. He walked into the giant tree and there were guards at the entrance to the thrones where two royals sit. Shade walked closer over to them and it looked like the king was frustrated with something so the queen spoke instead. "Who do you have with you shade, you know we don't have humans on these lands" Shade held me softly I wanted to fall asleep. Then shade spoke and like every other time he said something his voice was soft and warm. "This is Night the long lost princess your highness, I have told her a little bit about this place and I have learned that she went through an accident and no longer remembers this place." The king glanced over at us.
"When I had found her she was being attacked by a intoxicated human, and already lost a lot of blood." I could tell that the guards even shifted their heads over to us to what shade said. The queen nodded and spoke. "We will do some test to see if she is what you say she is, however if she isn't the princess and is different from humans she can stay here on our land." Shade bowed to the queens response and the stab wound shot pain through my body and I gripped onto shades shirt instead of making a noise. He stood up. "With respect your highness I think she would be more comfortable with me until the test are back." The queen smiled and nodded. And with the conversation over, shade turned around and walked out of the giant tree. His wings extended and took off into the air again. Even though there was still pain it was more toleratable, I let go of his shirt realizing I still had a hold of it. Shade flew above the clouds and there was a floating building.
