Tyler's POV

"Tilly? Come on!" Troye was like an excited toddler as he walked in front of me, craning his neck backwards every now and again to make sure I was still there. I scoffed and giggled at him.
"I'm coming, Troye-sivan!" I turned to Korey who was walking alongside me. "He's like a little puppy, oh my gosh," I said while readjusting my snapback. Korey smiled widely.
"Just wants to spend time with you. God knows why," he mused and I play-smacked him on the shoulder.
"Um," Troye sassed from in front of us, "hurry up?" and we quickly sped our pace for fear of him murdering us. We were nearly there, walking along a grassy verge next to a river. England had so many rivers everywhere. It was odd, and they always had cute little wooden bridges and greenery and lime coloured lichen growing all around. I loved them.

Realising I was getting distracted again, I looked back at Troye. He was wearing sunglasses which reflected the early, hazy light, and a smile of anticipation. My gaze travelled from his cheekbones to his skinny jeans and platforms, not sure if he was looking at me or not.
"Nearly there," I said as he turned back around, giving me an even better view.

We had got together over a month ago now but we were still reluctant to act coupley in public as we hadn't come out to the fans. It was hard not to interlink our fingers sometimes, or kiss him when he looked extremely cute, but we managed. I hoped that soon we wouldn't have to hide it, but I would wait forever for him. Honestly.

The jaunty, jolly music began to get louder and louder. I could see Troye with a spring in his step, more happy the closer we got. We were walking past fences on our left and the river on our right when suddenly we turned a corner and-
"Ohmygod!" Troye bounced on his toes. "Where do we start? Can we get candyfloss?"
Surveying the chaotic fair, I grinned at his eagerness. It did look fun. There were rides and stalls and the intoxicating smell of junk food and sweets and a helter skelter and people everywhere, enjoying themselves.
"Cotton candy," I corrected with a smirk and he frowned but began to burble about other things, looking around the fairground and laughing at every new discovery. God, was he beautiful.
A shrill ringing beeped above the music and all three of us checked our pockets only to realise it was Korey's phone making the noise.

"Hello?" he said in a very camp tone. I snorted quietly. "Um, no... I'm kind of busy. Yeah, I'm out. What do you mean? Urgent? It can't be that-"
Korey sighed deeply. He turned away from us and murmured something that we couldn't hear.
Troye gave me a look and I smiled reassuringly. His arm seemed to lift of its own accord to take my hand but he quickly recoiled, glancing around.
"Okay. Yeah. See you soon. Byeee!"
Korey hung up the call and surveyed us apologetically. I leant into Troye's shoulder. "Sorry, guys... I have to go... It's urgent."
Troye pouted. "Some work thing is more important than us?"
"...something like that," Korey gave a small smile but I knew he was joking. "Or maybe I just want Troyler to have some alone time." He winked saucily.
"Shall I drive you back? Or come with you?" I offered.
He shook his head. "I'm getting picked up." He gave each of us a one-armed hug before waving goodbye and setting back off down the grassy path.

"Where to first?" I asked softly, brushing my hand over Troye's.
"The carousel.." he replied with a cheeky laugh. I wondered why till I saw that all the people riding horses were about four years old.
"We'll break the ride!"
"Nooo," he insisted and dragged me over. "Can we share a horse?" he asked the ride owner.
"If you want..." responded the grumpy-looking middle aged woman. She held her hand out, I dropped the money in, and she motioned to the ride which was now still.
"Choose one then," I said, beaming.
"That one." Troye pointed at one. The horse was an ivory white with a black flowing mane and tale, and a candy striped pole to hold on to.
Troye clambered on and held onto the pole, until I climbed up behinde him. Deciding to throw caution to the wind, I wrapped my arms tight around his waist feeling him warm and strong in front of me.
"You're infecting the children with your gay," he said over his shoulder and I cackled as the ride began to move.
