Chapter 14 - Recovery

(Four days later)

Robbie's P.O.V

Daniel has been in hospital for four days now and he has been recovering really well, Me and Sammy have been visiting him regularly. Today he is released from hospital but Sammy doesn't know about it. We got her parents involved in her birthday present which will now include Daniel coming home. It will make the surprise extra special. I need to make sure Sammy doesn't visit Daniel so that she doesn't find out he is getting released so I call her and ask if she wants to go out for something to eat or generally go out. ''But what about Daniel'' she asks, I can hear her mum in the background telling her to go. ''We can go see him later on, he is recovering really well remember'' its hard for me to say that because I know she will be upset about not visiting him but she'll thank me later. ''fine''.

I change into a navy coloured shirt and some light brown jeans ready to go before I get a phone call. Its Daniel. ''Hey'' I answer but for a few minutes there is complete silence and then ''Hey Rob, can I stay at with you tonight? If I stay at home then Sammy will see me'' He laughs at the end then I smile and reply ''Yeah sure, I'll come get you later''. We both say goodbye and then I leave to get into my car. On the drive to Sammy's house I look at the sky, bright blue and the sun is beating down, another sunny day to set the mood.

Once arriving at her house I stop and look at the door, she is just leaving and then spots me and begins to frantically wave so I wave back smiling. She is wearing a blue and white flannel shirt with a black vest underneath and blue skinny jeans. ''Heyyy Robbie'' Sammy says as she slides into the passenger seat. ''your very happy this morning'' I lean in to kiss her, ''Everything just seems perfect right now'' she also smiles and we stay in the leaned position for a while, I can feel her fingers rubbing the back of my head and hair.

Sammy's P.O.V

The sunlight is illuminating Robbie's green eyes and defining his face more. We finally sit back and then Robbie begins driving but I catch myself still staring at him. He notices and turns a few times then looks at the road, ''why are you staring at me?'' he laughs in confusion. I see an opportunity and take full advantage of it, I put on my best Augustus Waters voice ''because your beautiful'' and then I can't help but to burst into laughter. ''Hey! I said no quoting cheesy love movies like The Fault In Our Stars'' I can tell he is playing around, ''why because you cried at it'' I smile mischievously.

''No and it was one tear'' Robbie puts on his not impressed face and then can't help but to crack a smile at the thought. I kiss him on the cheek to make him feel better and then we both agree on somewhere to eat. We get lunch, I look at my phone and notice its the afternoon already, the time has flown by. I look up to Robbie who went to get a drink but I notice he has been stopped by a fan, she looks about 11 years old and is very happy about meeting him. They get a photo and then he returns back to our table. ''Whatcha got there?'' I ask watching Robbie open something. ''A fan gave me it'' he explains finally getting the package open. It contained a letter and a few drawings of the OUAT gang. Very sweet of her.

(A few hours later)

Robbie's P.O.V

I see Sammy to her door before hugging her and having a long kiss. I don't want to seem like I want to get away from her but I need to pick Daniel up very soon and I can't look too suspicious. ''Wait we where going to see Daniel'' She has a grip on my hand so I try to quickly think of an excuse. ''I have to get back now but I promise I'll take you to see him tomorrow'' I hold my other hand to her cheek, ''you promise'' she gives me the puppy eyes. ''Promise'' I smile and then kiss her on the forehead. Once I get back into the car I wave goodbye to her now feeling horrible because I didn't take her to see him but it'll all be okay tomorrow.

Trust me Sammy.

I rush into the hospital just in time to get Daniel and help him to my car. ''Thanks for the help Robbie'' he sounds a little croaky but I shake it off. ''No problem''. Daniel still has a broken arm and pain in his rib cage so he isn't 100% better, more like 97%. We spend the night planning tomorrow and decorating my house for her coming over. To make tomorrow even better I have the best birthday cake ever for her. I can't wait to see her again.

(Heyo! Sorry for the REALLY late chapter. I've been caught up with..yep...coursework and revision and school and school and more school. My final exams start in 3 weeks so the stress is building right now :P The next chapter will be more exciting its just with the stress I don't have much creativity right now haha.
