Silver Wings

PART 1

Hyejin POV

I woke up by the annoying alarm by my side. The rays of sun hit my face causing my to lit open. I lazily woke up because it was my first day of university and I do not want to get late. I did my morning routine and went downstairs and made myself breakfast. As I was getting late and I was hungry I made myself scrambled eggs.  I stuffed the last bite of food in my mouth and rushed out of the house and went towards the bust stop.

I reached my university and felt uncomfortable glares on me. I looked around myself and found people whispering something to each other. I felt someone pulling me.
"Thank you, I was feeling really uncomfortable there." I said to the boy who dragged me.
"Its okay. No need to thank me. By the way lets be friends?" He asked hesitantly.
"Sure." I answered.
"I am Jackson Wang. I am 22 years old." He introduced himself.
"I am Kim Hyejin. I am also 22." I said introducing myself.
He took out his hand for a hand shake and I gladly accepted it.
"Lets go to the class." I said and we headed towards our first class.

Time skip lunch time

As it was break and I was hungry, I headed towards the canteen, bought my food and sat and sat on a table. I was eating peacefully when I felt someone's presence beside me. I looked at my right side and found Jackson. He smiled at me and I returned the smile.
'Gosh, his smile is so pretty.' I thought.
"So do you live here? i mean in Korea?" He asked.
"Yeah." I answered. He nodded. There was a very awkward silence between us when I heard an unfamiliar voice.
"Look, we got a nerd here." He said. I looked at him in utter confusion.
"Oh my bad. Let me introduce myself. Well I am kai. My parents own this university so don't you dare do anything against me or I'll make your life hell." He said while smirking. I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face so bad.
"If you are done you may leave." I said totally not wanting to continue any conversation with this Kai guy.
"Oh. You got a tongue, I thought you were mute." He said mocking me. I shot him a death glare and looked scare but he would not show it and left without any single word.

"Wow that was amazing. No one ever went against him. You were the first one who talked back to him. You got some guts." Jackson said.
"I won't let him control me. He thinks I am a nerd and can not do anything. Just wait and watch how I'll prove him wrong." I answered.
"Well what about your family? You live with your family?" He asked the question I always wanted to avoid.
"They died in an accident when I was very young. I had two brothers and one sister. Some people came to our rescue but unfortunately I made it alive." I answered.
"So what do you do for living." He shot another question.
"I work in a restaurant. What about your family." I answered tired of answering these types of questions.
"I don't know anything about my family. They abandoned me when I was young. That's what people have told me." He said.
"Where do you live now and what do you do for living?" I asked.
"I live alone and I work in a super market to make living." He said.

Time skip last period

Finally it was my last class. The teacher entered and all the students greeted him.
"Good evening. As you all may know we are having another new student today. Please come in." The professor said.
"Hi I am Jeon Jungkook. I hope we'll get along." Jungkook introduced himself.
"I am Kim Namjoon. Your class teacher. You may go and sit beside miss. Heyjin. Miss. Hyejin please raise your hand." He said. I raised my hand. He walked over to me and sat beside me.
The class was going smooth when I felt something poking my left upper arm. I looked beside me and found Jungkook sleeping peacefully like a baby. I smiled at how cute he was looking.
