VIENNAS POV
OCT 31, 1838
Today was the day Mother was going to let me go out to the city and buy some stuff because I've finally turned 17. My entire life I've been confined to the walls of the castle both because my mother and father didn't trust me to not get hurt and because they didn't want anyone to know about me, but they said when you turn 17 you can so I'm going to finally go and see the outside world. I've only heard about the city because my best friend Alice was one of the servants' daughters and sometimes, she would have to come with her mother when it was her week to work so we ended up being friends
Just as I was done thinking about all the fun times me and Alice had my mother came in "Happy birthday Vienna" "good morning mother how was your sleep" "good but how was yours" I honestly didn't have a good sleep, but I didn't want to continue the conversation because I just wanted to get ready and go out so I just say "pretty good actually... any way I'm going to get ready now" "alright I'll go then bye"
