Part Two

The next day, Danielle sat with Winney in her room. "You know Josh invited that one girl that Tye likes, Cindy." Danielle tenses up. "Wait, what do you mean he invited her?" Winney continues scrolling through her phone. "He messaged her saying he's throwing another party tonight." She responded without thinking much of it. Jealousy ignited within Danielle just thinking about how Tye and Cindy were a thing.

Danielle decided to go downstairs to get something to drink. Running into Josh in the hallway, he stops her. "Hey, I've been meaning to talk to you." He says mischievously. Danielle rolls her eyes. "Well, I don't want to talk to you." She attempts to move past him which annoys him. "You know, that one guy you used to like, Izan, yeah he's coming tonight." Josh states knowing that that would get her attention. Danielle stops in her tracks. "What do you mean he's coming? How do you know him?"

Josh was happy that he was able to get her attention. "Well, let's just say I know people who know people. This will be a good opportunity for you, Izan will be a lucky dude." He states, attempting to appeal to Danielles emotions. Danielle rolled her eyes at him, but still felt this subconscious anxiety. She wondered how Tye would feel or what he would think about Izan being at the party. "Ok." She says walking to the kitchen again. Josh smirked knowing that he had already told Tye about Izan, and was satisfied at the potential disruption that he was going to cause between them.

As Danielle walked into the kitchen, Tye was fixing himself some food. He smiles at her briefly. "Hey, goodmorning?" He tells her as he prepares his food. After they fell asleep next to one another the night before, they felt a sense of ease when interacting with each other. Danielle smiles, a hint of nervousness in her tone. "Goodmorning." She goes over to the pantry and grabs a water bottle. "Are you going to be partying with us tonight?" Tye asked her as he opened a pack of bread. His question gave her jitters. "Maybe... you?" She asked him, taking a sip of her water to keep her steady. He tensed. "Maybe..." There was silence as they both looked at each other. Danielle walks over to where he was standing and they were face to face. Tye was trying to scope her reaction. Josh had told him more information about Izan, and how Izan was coming to the party just for Danielle. He didn't want to believe that Danielle was actually involved with him.

"Well, I hope to see you out there.. You know.. If you do end up coming." Danielle tells him as she looks him in the eye. She was really worried about how Tye would react to Izan showing up. Maybe she could pretend not to know him, she thought. He stared at her, equally as worried about Cindy. "Do you want me to come?" He asks her, full of curiosity and hope. The question was a test. He knew if she said no that meant that she was somehow involved with Izan. Danielle held her breath as they inched a tad closer. "Sure." She forced a smile, to which Tye caught on.

"I'll see you later." Danielle stated nervously as she left the kitchen, Tye's eyes trailing behind her.

Later that night at the party, Cindy arrives. "Cindy. Just the person that I was waiting for. Come on in." He escorts her through the house and into the backyard. "Tye will be very happy to see you." He adds as they walk. Tye eyes her and Josh suspiciously as she walks in. "Don't mind him, he's shy." Josh laughs as he stops right in front of Tye's line of sight. Josh knew the chaos he was causing but did not care. Tye didn't react, instead he kept a blank, stiff face, and drank from his cup. Danielle watched to see if they would interact but nothing happened. Cindy smiles at Tye, but Tye looks at her and walks off somewhere.

"Hey, Izan! Just on time. I have someone who wants to see you." Josh suddenly, and very loudly states as he walks with Izan into the backyard. Danielle tenses up, and wants to hide but it's too late. Josh directs Izan over towards Danielle. "Danielle you remember Izan, right? Old lovers, brought together once again." Josh laughs, catching the attention of the people in the vicinity. Danielle glares at Josh and looks around for Tye, who was bitterly watching as Izan greeted her. "Long time, no see. How have you been." Izan smiles at her politely. "Good." She stated blankly and quickly, still looking around for Tye who was nowhere to be seen. "Well, I'll leave you two love birds to it then." Josh says mischievously as he walks away.
