I feel the blood seeping out of my wound, the warm trail trickling down my neck. Why hasn't it started healing yet? It's been 10 minutes since the... I don't know what, bit me and by now the bleeding should've stopped. What bit me? At first I thought it was another werewolf because of it's strength but it didn't have a scent, at least not one I'm familiar with. I need to get home quickly! What if it was something that the hunters have made to kill us? What if it's something that we don't have a cure for?
I run home as fast as I can, keeping my hand over the cuts in my neck to try and stop the blood flow. I bust through the door to find mum and dad sitting on the sofa watching some movie about vampires. They don't even exist! They turn around to see what all the noise was and almost immediatley jump to their feet to help me.
"Voilet! What the hell happened?" Mum asks suprisingly calmly.
"I was attacked... by hunters... I think... it's not healing..." I manage to get out while heavily breathing, I've never been out of breath before! What's happening to me?
"It's okay honey, just let me see the wound." She says even though we all know that it's not okay. I peel my hand away from my neck. She sighs with relief. I look into the mirror across the room to see that the cuts have gone and all that is left is two streams of blood only a few centimeters apart. I look at the TV to see the same thing on the sceen... creepy.
Mum gives me all of the remidies that we have just to make sure that I've not been poisened by hunters, but I'm not sure that it was a hunter. Hunters usually work in groups not by themselves, but I was only attacked by one... thing, and as far as we know the hunters don't know that were here. That's why I like it here, it a small, quiet town with a population of only a few hundred. So Hunters don't really pass through here.
