"Is this where she lives?" Vic asked.
"GPS doesnt lie." I smirked.
"Want me to get her?" I asked.
"Ill get her if you want." I shrugged as he got out of the car. i watch him disappear inside the crappy apartments. I stepped out the car and walked to Mikes truck behind, which was parked behind us. I walked to the passenger side where Jaime was sitting.
"Hey, how much.'' Mike winked.
"Um a packet of Twizzlers?" I smiled.
"Damn girl! Why you so expensive."
"What ever." I laughed.
"So are you stoked for the whole outdoor experience?"
"Yeah. Ill be with Vic and my boys. So what can go wrong?"
"Yeah youre right."
"Um Tony. Ive been meaning to ask you... so why cant Stephanie come?" I asked. I really wanted her to come. I mean its weird enough that Mel cant but now Stephanie.
"Busy with work. You know her... work first... nothing else matters." He mumbled. I kind of regret asking.
"So how did you meet Cara?" Mike asked trying to switch the subject of the conversation.
"Um, she worked at the coffee shop i bought our stuff from but she quit because some ass was trying to get his money back. So i gave her the merching job and such."
"Oh ok." Jaime said.
"Here they ...come."
"GET IN THE CAR!" I turned to see Vic running with a bag in his hand.
"Whats wrong?!" I asked. Soon i saw Cara running down the steps.
"HURRY UP! GET IN THE CAR!" She yelled. I quickly ran back to the passenger seat and closed my door just as Vic pulled away. Just as we past, i saw a guy with a bat in his hand running down the stairs... but we were already leaving the apartment complex. Before i could open my mouth, someones phone was ringing. I looked down to notice it was mine.
"Jaime?"
"What the hell just happend?!"
"Thats what i want to know." I looked over at Vic and then Cara.
"Crazy boyfriends... well exboyfriends. No worries." She said breathlessly.
"Boyfriend drama i guess." I said into the phone.
"Oh... Alright." I hung up the phone and stared at Vic.
"You alright?" He nodded stopping at the light.
"Do we still need to go to the store?" He asked. I nodded.

"HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN?"
"What? Since the last time you asked.... 3 minutes." I laughed at Cara.
"Gosh... I hate road trips."
"How the hell do you expect to be a merch girl if you dont like staying in a car for over an hour?"
"Well see well be on a tour bus... This is a CAR!" I grabbed a twizzler and threw it her.
"Thanks!" She smiled and sat back into my seat.
"Were almost there. Like 15 more minutes."
"Awesome." I pulled my knees up to my chest and slurped on my slurpee. I looked out the window and saw Mike speeding up, next to us. I rolled my window down just like Jaime was doing.
