0: prologue
"Please, I'm begging you. Promise me you won't say anything to her. To anyone about this. I can explain this later... just please don't tell anyone about this conversation." she pleaded as if her life was on the line back then.
"I won't. I'll wait for your explanation." I lied. I didn't expected her to be so... desperate about it. I wonder what bullsh*t excuse will she throw at me.
"Promise me. Promise me you wont tell anyone until I said so, okay?" she said it again as she held my hand, her eyes desperately begging me. It was your fault in the beginning, you should've known the consequences.
"Yeah, I promise." I threw those words carelessly.
Back then, I didn't thought any of it since it was just a flimsy promise from a laughable secret that I discovered. Never did I expect that things would escalate this bad breaking a stupid promise.
I should've not broke our promise.
I should've not disregarded her warning.
I should've known....
