The Terror That Lies In The Dark

CHAPTER 1-The house?

It all started on an autumn morning.The sun still rising with colourful colours all multicoloured.The air smelling of dead leaves.Crunches were heard from the orange,yellow and some green leaves that was on the floor being crushed as 5 teenagers walked.

"Oh come I pleaseeee"One girl whined as she held onto another girls arm.
"I love you but no,"The other girl spoke.
"But missyyy🥺"The brown haired girl said giving her best puppy dog eyes.
"No Jenny"Missy said.
One of the boys faked coughed to get the couples attention.
"We're still here you know,"A tall boy with spots on his face said sounding annoyed.
"Heh sorry Bobby"Jenny said now looking at the boy.
"Anyway max and cassarah found a house near by,since it's getting late they suggested to stay the night there,"Bobby continued with a serious look,"it looks abandoned so it should be safe."
"What no!?Ya should know never stay in abandoned places at night,have ya ever seen a horror movie!?"Jenny yelled finally letting go of the taller girl.
"It'll be fine."Bobby said starting to drag the too.
On the way jenny was just complaining.Saying how dangerous and worrying this was but wa signore by the group due to them thinking she was the crazy one who believes to much in video games and movies especially the horror genre.

When all the group was together they entered the old broken down house as it began to rain.The droplets pitting the cracked windows while the teens stand their in the door way.They stepped mor einto the dark obyse.Jenny clinging onto missy for dear life.Jenny wasn't scared of the dark it wa sweat could jump out.Ya could say she was paranoid by this sort of thing.Cassarah tried to flick the switch on for the lights but it was no use.She then lit a match for some reason she always carried around.

"Hmm lights don't work,we might have o find a lantern,candle or try turn the electricity on."Cassarah spoke calmly.
"B-but that's exactly how the people in horror movies die!They go look for the thing then one of them go missing and find them dead!"The anxious one yelled.
"Well we can't just stay in the dark.Theres five of us,right?so we'll split into groups."Max suggested,"3 and 2.I suggest missy stays with Jenny since she can calm her down better and the rest of us will stay together."

All of them agreed and separated into two groups each having matchs.They were to meet back there after searching they're floor.
Though Jenny could always here wispers of some kind...wispers taht scared the girl.Telling her to come,leave the others and that they're useless to her.When all of this was happening mist started to surround the room and everything went dark.Jenny was left alone in the dark.
"MISSY!?MISSY!?"The girl screamed and screamed into the darkness but got no reply."please...I'm scared The younger girl spoke softly and began to cry.As red eyes was coming out from the darkness everything went bright.As she saw her eyes open missy was crying and holding on to her.
"Are you okay!?"Missy checked for any bruises."You passed out luckily when I brought you back they just found the electric box."
"Oh right...I'm fine..."
