Chapter 1-

"Dont! Justin, she needs you. And even if youre not doing this for me, do it for her. Shes an unborn child. She hasnt even had a chance to make a mistake!"

"Im making the right desicion in leaving!," he said as he was packing the last of his clothes.

"How?! Whos gonna have to answer the questions about "wheres daddy", and "did dad leave because of me?" who is gonna answer those questions?! tell me! I think itll be me. dont you?"

He didnt answer my question because he knew the answer. he just stormed out. and that was the end.

I sat on my bed and cried. i couldnt.handle this. honestly, this wasnt about me. it was about her. i wanted her to have a bright future and life.

i lived in London, i had always dreamed of living here, even as a child. when i got out of college in America, i rushed to London to start a new life. money was never a problem in our family but we werent one to flash it in peoples faces and say that we were better than someone. that just wasnt our style. so i broke the news to my parents that i was leaving the country. they were very upset for a while, and very worried but they let me go because they knew i wouldnt ever be happy if they didnt let me. But now the baby girl was on the way, Emily Faith to be exact, and i had to push on with my life. I thought i had loved Justin but really, i just thought i did, and i wasnt really in love. And i realize that now. It was 10:30, so i decided to lie down for the night. I owned a flower shop down the street, and buisness was really good, and it always had been. I had only one other employee, Leah. We were like sisters. We knew everything about each other and could tell each other everything. We even thought about moving in together since we spend so much time with each other but we decided against it.

-----------------------------

Beep, beep, beep. Ugh, the dreaded alarm. I picked up my iphone and turned off the alarm. I let out a loud sigh and got up and walked to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror at my growing stomach and shook my head. Wow. What a stupid mistake. And it all happened in an instant. A tear shed down my cheek and i wiped it away. i quickly undressed and got in the shower. I picked out a dark blue dress and black flats. Simple, but im pregnant for goodness sake! i thought i was still pretty stylish, ya know? I laughed to myself thinking how weird i was. I walked into the kitchen and fixed a cuppachino, grabbed a granola bar and yoghurt, grabbed my purse and keys and walked out into the garage.

----------------------------------

I sat down and ate my breakfast as i waited for Leah to come in. It was only five minutes before she walked in.

"Hey, Madison. Are you ok after..you know.." She gestured with her hands.

"Yeah. I saw it coming honestly."

"I know you did, and i did too. And girl you need to eat a healthier breakfast than that! Good Lord, child, your baby isnt getting any nutrients!" She joked.

"Yes she is! I eat like a pig any other time and you know that." I winked at her. "Whos making the coffee and picking up the donuts? Its looking pretty busy out there."

"I'll go this time." She replied.

As soon as she walked out the door, another customer came in.

"Hi, sir! I wish we had donuts and coffee for you, my employee just went to get some."

"No, I just had a nice little breakfast." The boy answered. I know that just last night i had a fight that ended in a break up, which led to me deciding that my trust in boys was gone. Completely gone. But this guy, even though he said one sentence he was very sweet and he was really hot but-

"Ma'am?"

"Oh, Im sorry, I um, so one order of roses?" I answered dumbly.

"Yes. Thats it. So when is it due?" The beautiful boy asked with a smile. "Oh. Shes due in about a month, any time now really." I said with a fake smile. This innocent baby made me think of Justin.

"Oh, wow. Well I'm sure she will be beautiful, theres no way she cant be." he winked. Was he seriously flirting with me? I wasnt complaining but what if i wasnt single?

"Well thank you. I just wish i didnt have to do it alone." I mumbled the last part.

"Alone?" he asked.

"Yeah. He left me last night." I answered plainly.

"Oh I'm sorry babe. I know this may sound a bit intrusive but would going out for a cup of tea later help any?" He asked with a sweet smile.

Even though it was such a sweet gesture, I don't think I should-

"Yeah, sure!" I suddenly blurted out.

"What time to you get off work?" The beautiful boy asked.

"Around 3."

"Well I'll see you at the cafe a few doors down at 4:30?" He winked. "And my name is Louis. What's yours?"

"Its Madison."

"Pretty." He said a bit shyly.

"Thanks! Here are your roses." What or who was he ordering roses for?

"And thank you my darling. My mum will really fancy these. See you at 4:30." And with that he walked out the door with roses for his mum and a date at 4:30 tonight with a single, bitter pregnant girl. Why did he want me?

"And I've returned!" Leah said as she opened the door, her hands full of goodies for the shop.
