Y/N POV:

After Sae-byeok went missing I felt as if my whole world just collapsed. I couldn't help but look around for her all day and once my day ended I just felt the need to go to my room and cry all the pain away. It's been over a week and she still hasn't replied to any of my calls or texts. It's not like I expected her to knowing how cold and tough she was but I just felt the need to worry anyway.

Since I kept looking for her all day I didn't bother going to my work at the small café across from my apartment.  It wasn't a big café that got a lot of attention and I didn't get paid much either so working there wasn't really helping get rid of my debt. The only thing I did do while looking for her though was going to visit her brother in the children's home. I made sure Sae-byeok wasn't there as well as take care of her brother while she was gone. Like giving him food or making sure he's ok. Once I did that I always went back to search for Sae-byeok.

1 year later..

This time I went to the children's home and Cheol (Sae-byeoks brother) asked me something.

Cheol: "When is Sae coming back? She's been gone for a year now and she hasn't come to visit me." he said with a worried and sad voice

Y/N: "The detectives are still looking for her and so am I but there hasn't been any report of her yet. I promise you I will look all over the city today if that makes you feel better?" I said looking into his sad and sorrow eyes while his expression makes my heart shatter

Cheol: "I don't believe you.. Looking all over the city would take days and I don't think you'd be able to do that" He said looking down

Y/N: "I said I promise didn't I? I'm going to look all around and I won't stop!" I knew that would take a lot of work but I wanted to do it anyways to make myself feel better and for the sake of Cheol.

Cheol: "Ok.." he said walking away

Time skip

I looked around until my legs started feeling shaky and only making it a quarter around the city, I decided to sit down and take a break so I walked to the nearest bench which was only a meter away. 

Y/N: 'I am trying to look around but it's too hard to do that with all of the people in this city'

I look around at other peoples faces until I see someone in a suit holding a black brief case coming towards me. He seems to be smirking at me not in a gross way but in way you can tell hes about to talk to me.

?: "Would you like to play a game with me?" he says this time making a blank expression on his face

Y/N: "..." does he think I'm that stupid? I know these tricks they won't affect me anymore

?: "No! Not that kind of game" he says

I breath in and then out feeling relieved but that still doesn't make me feel better knowing hes probably trying to sell me something or talk about god. Not that I care if he talks about god but I just don't want to hear it right now, and if hes selling something I wouldn't be able to buy it anyway.
