She was walking alone through the Camp Half Blood, listening to the Forest Nymphs' songs. On the other way, there was the sounds of hundreds of swords, arches and spears, that harmonized superbly with the melody of the Nymphs.
She walked to the beach, that afternoon, an unusual thing for her. The blond hair blended in perfectly with the color of the sand, and her blue eyes were identical as the sea she was watching. The same sea that could save her life. She smiled thinking bout that: her hopes died, like, five hundred years ago, and every time she saw the ocean, she cursed herself for uttering her oath.
"I will always love you, I will only love you, for the rest of my life" that were the disastrous words, pronounced on the top of a boat, in the middle of Mare Nostrum. She promised her eternal love to Patroclus, and Aphrodites listened to her wolds a little too literally. She cursed her, with the most painful thing in the entire world: seeing her love dying eternally.
"The gold Goddess a promise made,
on the sea she decided her fate.
For her freedom there's only one bound:
a Son fo Poseidon she have to found."A young voice distract her from her thoughts, and she turned around, to see who's talking. In front of her there was a young boy, not so short than her. His hair was black as the darkest night, but his skin was tanned, like he was spending all his time on the beach. But the thing that enchanted her was the eyes of this little dude: a bright water green, with a little of blue. He watched her in the eyes, and for a minute was like they were connected.
-I saw you all alone here, so I thought to bring you a pancake- the boy, witch she supposed to be 12 years old, offered her a blue pancake. Seeing that scene she started laughing: no one in her entire life offered her a random pancake. But she was so amused that she couldn't decline the offer. This young boy have to be one of the newest demigods here, thought her while watching him. There was, at the time, something that intrigued her in this dude.
-Thank you so much- said her before biting the blue pancake -and that's soooo good- he smiled.
-I heard some stories about you, and at the school I studied your story. So, are you the real..- he didn't finished the sentence, maybe cause he was afraid o maybe cause he didn't wanted to offend her. He, also, heard that she hate talk about her previous life.-Yep, it's me. I'm Iside, the "gold goddess"- and she mimed the quotation marks with her fingers, making the guy laughing. -And I already know what you're gonna asking me. Yes, my father is Zeus and my mother is Nyx. That's the truth- she smiled at him, he was admiring her.
-Woa! That's so cool. You're four thousand years old for real?- he was curious. For years, at school, he studied her story and made researches about her myths... he was fascinated. And now, she was in front of him, as a normal lady with lots of scars.
-So, young blue boy, how can i call you?- the pancake was delicious.
-I'm Perseus Jackson, but everyone call me Percy- he reached out his hand, and she did the same, saying a lovely "nice to meet you". But, when their hands touched, something strange happened: a voice started speaking in their heads, saying confusing things in ancient greek, and yelling loud enough to make them pass out. When Iside and Percy woke up, they were laying on the sand, she sat and she covered her hears, crying and terrified of what she heard. The boy sat too and, confused, watched the girl, concerned by her mental status.
-I know this voice... Patroclus, why?- she was whispering, and then she watched him -Who the hell are you? WHO ARE YOU?- she screamed, angrily, scaring the boy, who walked away from her.
-I'm.. my.. my father is- he was afraid to talk -I'm the son of Poseidon- and she passed out again.
-1 week later-
Percy was eating his blue pancakes, when he heard someone approaching him. Only when the person sat next to him he realized that was Iside. They didn't spoke since the day they met, cause she slept five days without waking up.
-I'm so sorry about last week. That voice... i'm sorry- she was feeling guilty and ashamed. She didn't wanted to scare the boy.. but Patroclus' voice made her loosing her mind. Percy smiled, putting his hand on her back, comforting her.
-Its okay, i saw the terror in your eyes, you were scared... but why?-
-The voice... its the cause of my destiny. I was cursed for loving him, and i can't escape from this. But i can't tell you more or you will be in danger- she looked down and she started crying. Percy hugged her, lovely, as nothing happened before.
-Everything's fine. You don't want to force you- his voice was warm and comfortable. He started caressing her head, as a sign of solace.
-I'm gettin consoled by a twelve year old blue boy- chuckled her, after some minutes of crying.
-Actually, I'm thirteen- and both started laughing, forgetting all the sadness and madness.
That was the beginning of a friendship between a goddess and a demigod, something powerful. But what would happen if one of them fell in love, and the other one decided to change the whole destiny?
