Chapter 1
Today of all days had to be the worst. My life hasn't been super amazing, when I was born it was with a hole in my heart. When I was nine, my whole family went to Disney while I was in the hospital with a rare disease. Then when I was 13 I started having even more heart problems and had to see a specialist. Once I hit 16 life got a little better, I was able to drive, and I fell in love with music and writing. But now here we are, 18 and the first day of summer vacation, writing this in a hospital bed because they think I now have a stomach ulcer from stress and anxiety. Great.
The person who has been by my side since day one would be my best friend Alecia. We met in first grade and from then on we have been best friends. We are almost like polar opposites, although one thing we can always agree on is music. We are always playing music no matter what. Especially if it's One Direction or Five Seconds of Summer.
I dream one day I'll be able to play music professionally, I've uploaded a couple of videos to my youtube channel. One even was trending for a while!

After scrolling through tik tok I decide to head over to twitter and upload a new video of me singing a slowed-down version of "Disconnected" by 5SOS in my bed at the hospital. After the tweet is posted I quickly realize how tired I am, and decide to take a quick nap. The quick nap soon turned into a long one when I was awoken by the sound of my phone ringing nonstop. I reach over to the table to grab it and am greeted by 8 missed calls, 4 facetimes, and 13 texts all from Alecia. I quickly scroll through the texts

All of a sudden my phone rings, it's Alecia face timing me.
"YOU NEED TO CHECK TWITTER RIGHT NOW"
"Calm down, omg"
"NO, YOU WILL BE THIS HYPED AS ME WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT"
"NOW CHECK"
"Okay okay I'm going"
I open up twitter and see thousands of people have liked and retweeted the video I posted.
"A, What's the big deal? people have liked my stuff before"
"I know! Keep scrolling until you find it"
"Find what?"
"You'll know it when you see it"
"Okay"
Five minutes pass and I'm still scrolling
"I don't see anything"
"Just keep going"
As soon as the words left her mouth I saw it,
"OH MY GOD"

a/n hiii new story :) I plan to upload once or twice a week! I know this chapter is short but I hope they will be longer in the future. I hope you like it! Also please feel free to give me ideas/suggestions/feedback on anything!
P.s. the info in the beginning about the rare disease and hole in the heart all actually happened to me!
