Chapter 2

{Harlow:}
Matthew seems like a nice guy, but I can't help but think he wants more.
As we sat I couldn't help but stare at the beautiful blue sky, it was getting towards the end of the day, the sun was setting. The clouds where combining, the bright sky was slowing fading into a reddy purple.
I thought about what Matthew said the other day... "Sorry, I thought you were my girlfriend" I completely forgot, but what a coincidence he's here today the same time as I was.
"So, Matthew what brings you into town today?" I ask
"sometimes a little retail therapy is needed, you as a girl should understand this" he says smiling
"I completely agree" I say.

{Matthew:}
Thank God she didn't think too much into my little white lie, I was clearly there to see her.
Her beautiful blonde hair, bright blue eyes. She reminds me of the other girls, except she's so much happier. Can I really do this to her? Ha. Since when have I ever shown any remorse towards anyone?

[one week later]

I can't help but admire Harlow, from a distance that is.
She's so innocent, I like that about her.
I followed her to her favourite store, I "accidentally" rammed my shopping cart into hers, she turned around and looked at me as if I'd just ran over her dog... Who's name is Roger by the way... She was on the phone, she hung up and said "oh, it's you" she didn't seem too happy if I'm honest.
"Hey, what's up?" I ask
"Nothing, I'm fine? Why are you everywhere I go? At first I thought they were just coincidences but then I realised that they can't ALL be" she says with an aggressive undertone
"Well, it's nice to see you too" I say laughing
"What happened to your girlfriend?" She says
"What girl- oh that girlfriend, well you see that didn't exactly work out..." I say trying to act upset, her expression softens and she says "oh, I hope you're okay" and then smiles a compassionate smile, then rolls her cart away without looking behind.

{Harlow:}
He is literally everywhere! He acts like I can't see him, when in reality he isn't so good at hiding.
I am seriously debating on changing my name and moving to a place he wouldn't think to look for me... But then again he follows me everywhere so he'd know.
I couldn't get away quick enough, I feel kind of sorry for the guy I mean he's just broke up with his girlfriend..
