A/N: Hi everyone! So this chapter is one I have been waiting to write since the very beginning. It's been my favourite to write so far so I hope you all enjoy it! There are some mature themes in this chapter but nothing to heavy. If it's not for you feel free to give this chapter a miss. Thanks again for reading and I really do hope you like it!
Lots of love

The bell sounds through the school building signalling the start of lesson time. I manage to coerce Lydia into leaving the cubicle. The corridors are relatively clear, there are a few stragglers hanging around avoiding class. Their giggles and comments are easier to handle, Lydia gives them the middle finger and I give my most fearsome scowl.
"I'm just going to go home. If I stay here I swear I'll murder someone!" Lydia emphasises the latter end of the sentence, directing it at a group of year eight boys pointing and smirking. "Lydia I'm so sorry, I promise I'll make this right." I hope Lydia is listening to me, she seems so distant. "It's not your fault Hayley, some people are just nasty... There's no point you admitting anything to charlotte. She's not getting the satisfaction of taking us both down." Lydia's face is twisted as she spews the words, she's so filled with hate.
"We aren't down yet. Charlotte's perfect little world is going to crumble. I swear it." Lydia narrows her eyes at me, wondering what I could possibly do. I just nod at her, letting her know that I've got something planned. I don't have some epic take down envisioned or anything. My bid to strike back at Charlotte is to simply take what I'm owed.
Ryan that is. He wants me, he told me so Friday night. I stupidly refused him. But today I'm going to tell him that I want to be with him. We'll be together, finally I'll get to be with the boy I love. We'll be happy. Charlotte will go crazy at us and the heat will be taken off Lydia. With Ryan by my side I'll be untouchable and charlotte will have no one.

I'm standing on the playing fields waiting for Ryan. It's raining heavily. It rains so often here I've come accustomed to it. I even enjoy it. Feeling the water hit my skin, the drops run down my face, it reminds me that there's so much wonder in the world. Like the way our planet just does what it has to do to survive. Isn't that special? It's not a perfect situation for my appearance. My hair is drenched I can hardly see past the water droplets caught on my eyelashes. My clothes are clinging to my skin causing me to quake. I'd like to look a little better when telling the love of my life I'm ready to be with him, but it could be seen as romantic. All the romance movies have rain, right?
"What's going on Hayls? You texted you need help. I'm sorry I didn't get into school till now I had study periods this morning, I came as fast I could I swear!" Ryan is breathing heavily from sprinting across the muddy field. His hair is slicked back from the rain revealing the full intensity of his cobalt iris'.
"It's ok. I know." I say, I bite my lip preparing myself for what I'm about to do. The rain is so loud now, it's hitting the ground and splashing upwards. I need to shout my words so he can hear me. "Ryan, don't talk just listen!" I order, mirroring his command from Friday night. "I'm so used to letting charlotte take things from me that without thinking I give her the things I'm most afraid of losing... But I don't want to do that anymore. I want to fight for the things I want. Ryan, I love you, I've loved you since that Saturday night you turned up at my house and wiped my tears."
I'm shouting so loud my passion screaming through the thud of the rain against the dirt. Ryan's smiling, his face soft and loving. "I know I should have told you but I was afraid. I'm telling you now before its too late. I love you Ryan I really do and I want to be with you." I'm grinning so much my cheeks are hurting, this is it. This is where I get what I want.
