I was awoken by my alarm sounding, just like every morning, which told me it was time to wake up and return to work

???:"*sighs* alright, time to start" I told myself as i stood up from my bed and got to the drawer besides me, where i take some clothes for myself

Once i did that, i headed to the bathroom to get changed, getting out after and looking at myself in the mirror

???:"Looking good doctor, you'll get some more lives saved today" I said to myself with my usual smile

By then i felt some pressure on my shoulder, it coming from my little fox friend that had landed on my shoulder

???:"Hey girl, had a good rest?" I asked my partner

Fox:"Kon kon" It happily replied

We headed downstairs where she got off my shoulder and went to it's bowl, where i placed her usual food and returned to making mine. Despite not being an expert, anything goes for me so i just prepared some egg and bacon

???:"Yeah...not much to eat, i'll have to get some restock at the market today huh"

After finishing i sat down and ate as fast as i could, i needed to be ready for my next hour of work

???: So you wont get bored i'll start with introductions, the name's Yusuru Ibuki- or just Yus for short, a normal inhabitant of Tokyo where my profession is to help people, a doctor to say the least, i was born with the capacity to heal any injury and decided to be this once i grew

My partner had finished and got over the table, signaling she was ready

Yus: And this fox here is my friend Yuika, always at my side as you may see

Yuika looked down to my almost empty plate

Yus:"You can eat it, here" I moved the plate towards her, who ate it all up

When she finished i left the plates on the dishwasher, getting a cookie from a jar and munching it as my partner got on my shoulder again

Yus:"Ready?"

Yuika nodded, as if she understood me

Yus:"Out we go"

I opened the door to the outside, seeing the large city and people passing by. We departed towards my work place, where i took part in operations and similar stuff. While we went down the street, i was greeted by our neighbors and whoever else passed by

Yus:"I hadn't noticed we were really known around, maybe this job actually got us some recognition, right Yuika?"

Yuika replied with her usual sound. As we were walking, i noticed Yuika focusing her attention on one person that was going at our side

Yus:"Something the matter?" I asked her
