4.5 Billion Years Ago, It was warm in all directions. I could feel the seas of lava from previous asteroid collisions flowing on my surface. I couldn't see anything. My young eyes were closed as if I was in a slumber, but I was conscious, for the first time in my life. That is when I was born. I finally completely formed from Theia's collision with Earth after a hundred years. I became the end result.
My core was full of power. I could feel the power flow through me. It protected me from the poisonous radiation The Sun emits. I felt brand new, obviously.
I was confused. I didn't know who I am, what I am, and where I am. But I did know that I was something. I still couldn't see my surroundings. I couldn't open my eyes yet. I could feel another presence in front of me. I'm caught by its gravity, and I followed where it went.
"Open your eyes, my little one." I heard, "Try to see with the small power you have."
I didn't know what they were saying to me, but I wanted to know what was talking to me. I used all my strength to open my eyes, and see who was there with me. I slowly, but surely, started opening my eyes. I was hit by an extreme blinding light, but I quickly became used to it. It became into this ball of nothing but hot brightness. I had my eyes half open. I couldn't see clearly, my vision was blurry, yet still good enough to make out my surroundings. I looked everywhere and all I could see was nothing but a black void other than this bright ball and...another being that looks just like me. They looked at me with kind eyes."Awh. Hi little moon." They said with a soft voice. I didn't know who they were, but their presence soothed me. I looked at them with my young eyes, we were both staring at each other. I tried to mimic their words, but all I could make were baby-ish gibberish noises. They laughed, "You'll learn one day, don't worry. You're still a baby."
I stayed silent. Talking was too tiring for me, and I became exhausted just by making a couple of noises.
My body was starting to get adjusted. My vision was slowly becoming more sharper, and I was starting to get used to myself physically. I felt nice, but I still feel mild burning pain from wounds of my birth. From this odd, first experience, I got tired. I closed my eyes automatically and fell asleep.
