~Lucy's POV~
"so's how's it going with Bixlow?" I wiggled my eyebrows at Lisanna as we sat at the bar "It's going fine" she answered her face a bright red before she smirked
"so how are you? any cute guys?" she asked as it was now my turn to turn become redder than Erza's hair
"N-no, w-why would you think that?" I stuttered nervously. That wasn't actually true, me and Gray have been secretly dating for six months but since it was a secret nobody knew. "I wonder when the rest of your team is going to return from that job they took" she wondered aloud as I took a sip of my milkshake
"They should be back sometime later today," I said standing up "I'm going to head home, I'll see you tomorrow" I placed some money on the table and wished everyone a good night before heading out into the cold night air.
"would you like a jacket?" some random guy asked as I walked on the edge of the small stone wall "no thank you", when I got to my apartment it was already unlocked, walking in regularly since I wasn't worried someone had broke in I went to the bathroom and took a shower.
For pajamas I threw on one of Gray's shirts that he lost when his stripping habit kicked in for the hundredth time ' I should make dinner' my stomach growled loudly agreeing and I started looking for the ingredients I needed.
I was cutting the meat into strips when I heard someone enter the apartment, their footsteps getting louder until I felt a familiar pair of arms wrap around my waist "How did the job go?" I ask adding the meat into the pan
"It was terrible, flame for brains wouldn't stop complaining the whole trip there" he complained as I stirred the contents of the pan "well that's Natsu for you " I sighed looking for some in a cabinet for some rice "you should go take a shower, dinner will be ready when you get done" I turn around to face him with a smile
"and no cuddles until you shower" he stinks worse than rotting fish or a decomposing body "shower with me?" he asked as I smiled even wider "nope. I already showered" I declined causing him to pout "fine, I'll be out in a minute" he kissed my forehead softly before heading toward my bathroom
*Time Skip*
"What do you want to do?" I ask as we settled down on the couch "Relax" he said pulling me closer as we flipped through movies "there's nothing to watch" he groaned tilting his head back "Then let's just go to bed " I suggested standing up and pulling him along
So we just laid in bed, my head on his chest and our legs entangled "I love you" he whispered "I love you too" and with that, we drifted to sleep.
Outside a certain salmon, haired dragon slayer watched with a smile at the sight of the two "So that was your secret" he whispered before leaving
