Geek Squad

Chapter 1

The storm clouds roar in fast, covering the sun. The rain pours down faster and faster by the second. The trees whistle when the wind blows. That sound always calms me down and I never really knew why. I watch out the window wondering when the storm will pass. It doesn't madder to me none. I love the sound of the rain. The sound of the teacher drones in the background of my thoughts. The class seems to drag on but maybe that's just because it's math and I've never enjoyed math. I'm more of an artistic person, like drawing and photography. Trust me I get made fun of it a lot. I'm 15, I honestly don't like all that makeup and belly shirts. Say what you want. It's just not me. I like reading. It's like you may just be looking at words on a page but it's the story your mind shows while reading it is what I love. The bell finally rings. I scrabble to get my things and walk down the halls of what we all call high school. You probably first see the big group of girls. The ones all buzzing about the latest sale at Hot Topic, or how their boy friend waved at another girl and he is totally cheating on her. Then there are the boy jocks. The muscle ones, the high school dream boys on the football team. You can hear them screaming about some amazing play they made last night at their game. Then there is the girl jocks in their uniform saying how they can carpool to the softball game after school. Keep walking and then you can find the nerds. I mean the complete nerds. The I'm not even gonna leave my house until I find the cure for a common cold nerd. Then turn to the corner hall and you will find a few people in black. The what you would call " emo " group. I honestly don't think they are that bad.
Then not far from there you can find my friends. The geeks I guess. I don't mind that title. I kind of like it. You can see them ether reading or listening to music, talking, or just going with the flow. But let's say I'm pretty proud saying that I'm in the geek squad.
