Promise me

Chapter four

The first couple minutes were really awkward, we were just sitting in silence drinking our frappés.
"So what's one your mind?" He said.
"Alot."
"Wanna talk?"
"Please." I know usually people don't get personal help from strangers but I find it calming (weird right?)
"So what's wrong?"
"Got time?" I questioned.
"Lots"
"Okay" I thought to myself, "you can do this"
"It all started 6 months ago. Me, my mom, and my brother Brendan were all driving to Hilton head because we live only a few hours from there and it was raining really bad. my brother was driving and it got harder and harder to see the road. We still kept driving though. Then Josh's girlfriend MJ texted him, and he pulled out his phone to look. All of a sudden everything went black. Turned out Brendan went through a red light and huge pick up truck smashed into our little Ford Focus. I was sitting on the passenger side as well as my mom. But the truck drove straight into the drivers side. Brendan died immediately, while me and my mom were only in the hospital for a few days with minor damage.
And that my friend is why I am going through some tough times."
