Transferred into my mind it was pitch black. Gloomy and neglected.
"For a second I thought you were going to leave me." A dark figure emerges out and I suddenly feel a wave of deep emotions.
"Death can be a funny thing huh? But... I guess you cheated." They chortle and lay in the darkness. They swerve around me and question my sudden slump.
"Oh, you must be feeling the sudden blow of emotions before your death. Yes, the in-between can numb those emotions when allotted to loved ones." they clarify which explains the hit of sadness.
"You know, you should feel guilty though. You couldn't even save her. Remember the sight of her eyes and how much hope she must have had. What a pity isn't it." they coo and I remember Eri's eyes as I told her was going to get her out of there but failed.
I Sarai Daniels, Renata Kameko Santos has failed a little girl.
"It's time to wake up" Dark figure blows black glitter into my face which surges me into reality.
My vision is blurry as I realise that I'm in the back seat of a car. I move suddenly and remember Eri.
"Oh your awake R.K." the driver lets out and it seems to be one of the yakuza members.
"Where are you taking me?

No, take me back to The Shie Hassaikai." I request but he goes silent ignoring my plea.
"Didn't you hear me? I SAID I WANT TO GO BACK!
Overhaul requested you to not return there. Sorry." he utters which means Chisaki threatened him to do so.
My mind explodes in frustration which I scream in the car. I wail as I break down on not helping poor sweet Eri.
"I hate you KAI!" I cry as I go beyond spastic. Banging my fists and wriggle around since it's the only thing I can do. I've been... Defeated.
As I sit there drained it begins to pour as I look outside through the car window. My eyes were stressed and deprived to the point that my quirk shuts off. My eyes are now brown.
We reach the front entrance of The Vigil and I thank him for the ride back. The rain begins to cover me leaving me drenched just before I walk in.
"Hmm, no one is being bouncer," I mumble to myself as I drag my feet in delinquency. I enter and hear Kira singing with the twins but continue to slump through.
"Aye R.K!" Dax hollers at me with a welcoming tone as he's with Keith and Chords but I ignore him.
"HEY! You're back early I thought you were gonna be home late?
Did you bring Cake?" Chantel and Luna implore but I walk past her as I head upstairs to the dorms.
As I pace myself steadily I hear running footsteps and look up to see Kendell and Inazuma.
"OH, HOW WAS THE BIRTHDAY! Did you bring back some cake?
Dude.
Ow!" Kendall whines as Inazuma hit him. With dead eyes, I look at them and continue to walk towards my room.
I open my door and shut it gently then take a view of the gloominess of my room. The moonlight shines through my window and I stare at parts of my room. The drops of rain outside grow loud as I emphasise it.

As she ignores me she continues to walk in recession. Did I do something?
