Yeonjun's POV

"Hiiiii Yeonheeeeee, wassup, why are you callin me now, ahaha" I nervously answer her call.

Today was a holiday from work but i told Yeonhee that i had some business meeting planned with my friends and she believed it cuz why not, now that 'The Choi Yeonjun' is the CEO of 'Yeon Fragrance', a French cosmetics company which was earlier headed by me as a project at a different company but then it was separated as a whole another company and the great Choi Yeonjun was appointed as the CEO. But in reality i did not have a meeting planned, i lied. Why? You'll know.

"Hi Yeonjun, why are you speaking like a sus guy?" She spoke.

"Sus, me? HAHAH you must be joking. Anyways, what's up, I have like a 2 minute break from the meeting" I tried to speak in a normal way but I failed.

"Mhm sure, so could you bring me files of the Media department when you come home, i need to go through them again cuz i think there's a mistake," Yeonhee spoke.

"Okay sure i will" I said, finally in a normal voice.

"Thanks love, bye"

"Bye babe" I said and hung up the phone.

I turn back to look at the 'are you dumb' looks on the faces of Soobin, Taehyun, Beomgyu and Kai. They have been my closest friends and have helped me a lot since I've come to Paris. They're my only hope now for what I'm planning.

"Have you completely lost it?" Soobin questioned.

"I'm sorry" I responded.

"No don't be sorry, if you acted a bit more sus she would've known already!" Beomgyu exclaimed.

"Yea i know, i'm just too nervous" I said.

"Don't be nervous, you can do it. You love her!" Kai said.

"I do Kai," I smiled. "I love her so much"

"Okay so the plan, are you thorough with it?" Taehyun asked.

"Yes, I'll call her in the evening to come to the Eiffel Tower. You guys will make sure the place is booked for the night and that all the arrangements are done. She'll come there looking for me and then the music will start. I'll start singing and finally walk up to her. I'll say the speech y'all prepared for me and then do it," I say and revise the whole plan.

"Great, very good, you can do it," Soobin exclaimed.

"Do you remember the speech?" Kai asked.

"Yes I do" I said, even though I hadn't learnt it. I was already so nervous so I didn't tell them that.

"Right, then we'll go and get the arrangements done," Beomgyu said.

"Goodbye, best of luck, we'll be there" Taehyun said and all of them left.

Right, I can do it. Don't be nervous Yeonjun, you can do it!!


Time skip to 7pm

I call Yeonhee and tell her to come to the Eiffel Tower fast saying that I had to show her something which couldn't be shown through a photo or video call. Our house was nearby so it wouldn't take much time. She kept on asking why, but I just told her to come. All the nervousness is at its peak. What if she says no? Oh shit, will she say no?

It's not the time to think about this now, just go with it Yeonjun. You're the best.

"Yeonjun! Where are you?" After a few minutes I hear Yeonhee's voice looking for me.

All of us are hiding and then I look at Beomgyu who gives me the signal. That's my cue. Gradually, the music starts and I start singing.

I walk up to her while singing and she's in tears. I feel something unreal. I stop right in front of her.

"Yeonhee, I love you. I love you so much. I'm ready to do anything for you. You're the light of my life and you know how meaningless my life would be without you. Everytime i tell you how much you mean to me, I feel that words are not enough for that. My love for you can't be expressed through some song or words. Nothing can compare to my feelings for you. I want to spend my whole life with you and finally let the world know that you're mine," I pause after saying this and bend down on one knee.

She gasps and a huge smile is formed on her lips while her eyes are still teary.

"Kim Yeonhee, will you marry me?" I ask with all my excitement.

"Yes yes yes fuck yes i'll marry you" She shouts in happiness.

I placed the ring in her hand which was previously in the box. It's a diamond ring and I know Yeonhee likes it because she loves diamonds.

"I love you so much" She says and I get up.

"Kiss kiss kiss kiss" My 4 friends come out of hiding and start screaming.

"Y'all are here too?" Yeonhee asks in surprise. 

"Yes, because your boyfriend right here was way too nervous to do it alone," Beomgyu laughed and said.

"Yah! I wasn't nervous," I lied and looked at Yeonhee, "I wasn't nervous" I lied again.
Everyone laughed at this and so did i.

"But Yeonjun, this wasn't the speech that we wrote," Soobin said.

"Yes exactly, it started like 'You're the for to me ever, you're the eter to my nity. You're the soul inside of me' and God knows what all" Beomgyu said.

"Y'all seriously wrote THAT?" Yeonhee started laughing.

"Hey! At least we appreciated what we wrote. Yeonjun was so nervous that he didn't even know how to properly say 'will you marry me?' when he was practicing," Kai whined and exposed me.

"Can you not expose me kid?" I said in complete embarrassment.

"Cut the crap and kiss already!" Taehyun said, obviously annoyed by the bickering.

I looked at her. I looked at her just like the very first time I looked at her. The same interest in my eyes for this girl standing right in front of me. I still can't get enough of her, I always want her more, I need her in my life or else it's absolutely nothing. I'm ready to be with her and I know she is too.

I lean in for a kiss. Not a long one because then I know I wouldn't be able to hold myself, but a kiss which shows her how much she means to me. So that she knows her importance.

She is my forever.
