LETS TALK MINOR CHARACTERS

YOU DONT KNOW HOW LONG IVE SPENT searching through Wattpad for pjo fics on minor characters and have found absolutely nada. I tried to find a Lee Fletcher fic and only found one (if you wanna check it out go to _Feartheuwu_ ) and nothing else. If I don't find another one I'll rip my hair out bc I need more. Where are the silena fics? Take a shot if you've ever seen a Grover or Tyson fic (hint: I am stone cold sober.) Grover is hot and underrated he deserves some appreciation people!!
ANYWAY BESIDES THE POINT there needs to be more fan fics for the minor characters of the Percy Jackson universe. I'd love to read one of Tyson, how interesting would it be to see how he learns what it means to be in love? I'm already sobbing. Give me Clarisse La Rue falling in love with a nerdy Athena kid. Or Pollux and Castor fighting over some Aphrodite kid by impressing them with their winery powers.
I FEEL LIKE WRITING FICS FOR minor characters also gives you a lot of creative freedom. When there's not a lot of canon facts about the character, there is so much you can come up with yourself. Like in my book — this self promo is super embarrassing but how else am I gonna get reads you know what I mean — Young God one of my characters describes Lee Fletcher with a lot of small random things about him that I just made up. Obviously you can get a sense of what a child of Apollo is like, while also using the creative liberty you have to create your own things about the character. I made my oc describe his freckles, his smile and his eyes, which I made up myself. (The only canon thing being his dandy blonde hair.)
I UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETIMES you can fall into a bad slump because there's not much canon to work with, which may be one mans trash but it's certainly another's treasure (Jesus Christ) honestly that's my favourite part about it. Because you can set their story from The Lightning Thief and onwards, or literally any time before that. Therefore you get to decide how and when and why they meet. You get to decide what they do. Do they have a quest together? Do they have lyre lessons together? Do they possibly meet outside of camp like Luke, Annabeth and Thalia? I just cannot express enough how much creative freedom you get while creating a fic about small characters. It's always interesting to see how others perceive these characters too.
IN CONCLUSION I just really (clearly) have a passion for small character fics and would love to see more out there. Also, spoiler I have a fic coming out soon for Lee Fletcher. In my book he is a pansexual king. What's better?
