"Luci can we escape in the night and go home?"
"No Andi we're too far gone now"
"I should have stayed home with dad"
"That's you're own fault you didn't think it through"
"Oh shut up you're the smart one not me"
"If I'm the smart one then what are you?"
"I'm the beautiful one obviously"
"Oh shut up Andrea"
"Make me"
Lucia Slightly pushes Andi but the carriage Jolts to a stop and she gets projected forward.
"YOU BITCH"
"Oh shut up Andi"
"Ladies are you ok?"
"Yes thank you"
(Lucia's pov)
Andi is crumpled in the corner and I shoot her a look daring her to speak.
She doesn't.
"Ladies if you don't mind we have to stop for Princess Scarlette on the way"
I quick help Andi back to the seat, Pat her hair and run down her clothes before the carriage door is opened.
"We're stopping for the night"
I go to get out of the carriage and someone takes my hand and unnecessarily help me out.
"No Don't touch me I can get down myself"
Andi shoo's and swats away any hand that comes near her and gets out herself.
"Can I go get my bag?"
"I'll have Thomas get it for you"
The carriage driver walks away briefly and soon a man around my age by the looks of it appears with my bag.
"Here you go my lady"
"Thank you"
Andi looks completely fixated on him.
"Is she ok?"
"She's fine, you know yourself she's at the age where she has the look abouts"
"Shut up Lucia I do not"
"Thomas will you escort them to their rooms?"
"Of course Mr.Thorn"
"This way ladies"
We're walked up a stone path and into an old fashioned but we'll established house.
"Lady Andrea your chamber is just behind that door there"
"Thank you"
She walks off and opens the door quickly disappearing.
"Yours is upstairs lady Lucia"
"Please just call me Luci"
"It's wouldn't be proper my lady"
He leads me up a stair case and opens the first door on the right for me.
"Thank you"
"I'll bring your bags up here later"
I walk into the room and he closes the door.
The second it's closed the first thing I do is fire off the head scarf and take down my hair, my scalf is throbbing.
I walk around the room and notice that it has a small living area attached.
There's another knock on the door.
"It's open come in"
"Your bags lady Lucia and your chamber maid should be here soon"
"Thank you Thomas"
I turn around to face him and he stops what he's doing for a second and looks at me.
He quickly shakes his head, apologises and goes again."Lady Lucia are you sure you don't want to wear the clothes we give you?"
"Yes I am I prefer my own clothes"
"There's nothing wrong with your clothes but they're not appropriate"
"I'm only wearing them now I'll change again tomorrow"
"Very well if it is your desire"
"Can you get Thomas for me?"
"For what reasons?"
"The matter is a private one"
"Let me do your head covering then"
I don't object because I know she won't get him if I do.
"I'll hail Thomas right now"
She quickly scurries out of the room.
I take off the head scarf again and let down my hair.
"My lady you called?"
"Come in and close the door"
"I'm not sure-"
"Just do it Thomas"
He quickly closes the door and remains there.
"How can I help you my lady"
"Please call me Luci or Lucia"
"But-"
"It's Luci of Lucia"
"Yes Lucia"
"How old are you Thomas?"
"23 suns Lucia"
So my theory is correct he's only two years older then me.
"I'm 21 suns and I want someone my age to converse with"
"I can get a maid that is more our age if you want"
"Can we go for a walk Thomas?"
"If you wish"He brings me into the garden and we walk past a gazebo wordlessly.
I'll have to admit I don't blame Andi one bit for staring at him.
"Lucia do you want to go into the forest?"
"It's dark are you sure?"
"I have a lantern with me"
"Why not then"
We walk into a grove of trees and I savour the sounds of wildlife.
He stops and places the lantern on a branch.
"Your betrothed will have my head if he finds out about this"
"I don't have a betrothed or a husband"
He's face is full of shock.
"I thought a lady like you would have them lined up"
"That's not how things work in my world"
I move closer to him.
"Lucia I don't think you should come any closer-"
"Do you have a betrothed Thomas?"
"No Lucia"
"Then what's wrong with me being closer?"
"It's improper my lady"
There's no logic in his words the closer I move he doesn't back away.
I stand bearly inches away from him and look into his eyes which look like pools of honey in the moonlight.
I place my hand on his cheek and my fingers lightly grace his stubble.
"My lady-"
I cut of whatever he's about to say by kissing him.
He definitely hasn't kissed anyone before but I'm not surprised.
He breaks the kiss and pushes me away.
"Sorry my lady-"
No don't apologise I wanted to"
"My lady we should head back now"
"Ok"
He takes off the lantern and we walk back.
"I'll get your maid to escort you back to your room"
"No it's ok, I have to go check on Andi"
"Of course I'll have her await you"
"Thanks Thomas"
I leave him and go into Andi's room.
It's alot bigger then mine.
"Lucia what took you so long?"
"I was busy Andi"
"I finally got that maid to leave me alone"
"It gets annoying quickly"
"Andi I kissed him"
"Who?"
"Thomas"
"Who are you and what have you done with my sister"
I roll my eyes.
"Andi can you blame me look at him"
"I did Lucia"
"I don't know what came over me I just let it happen I didn't think"
"Why am I acting like you and why are you acting like me"
"Andi it doesn't matter"
"What was it like?"
"The kiss?"
She nods in reply and i can't help but wonder why she's so interested.
"He definitely hasn't kissed anyone before if that quenches your curiosity"
"How hasn't someone like him been kissed before?"
"It's their culture"
"You could have proposed to him in their culture for all we know"
"I don't think so Andi"
"How did he act?"
"Awkward"
"I don't blame him, I mean look at you"
"Fuck off Andi"
"Where to I'm kinda trapped here"
"Oh Andi shut up and grow up"
"What crawled
