Hinting Intimidation

One week later

"Come on; you need to wield your katana like this." Stain demonstrates a brisk slice with his katana. I then expend my Katana hologram and obey his instructions. I take a deep breath and exert it in momentum, in which you can hear the sliver of katana in the air.

"Good. Now I was hoping you could learn how to do fear inducement.

Fear inducement? So intimidation?" I query, and he nods. He poses before me, releasing a terrifying wave of bloodthirsty energy—blood lust.

I get intimidated but seize my ground as his eyes roar a deafening red atmosphere.

"This displays your killing intent, making it visible to your victim, which paralyses them in fear. Anxiety, Terror." he clarifies as he scowls me with extraordinary anticipation.

Not going to lie, but I'm terrified now. It's like Stain turned the environment to a misty ruby colour to match his eyes of the kill. Damn, imagine if I had this while having red or even black eyes; I'd be a force not to wreck. Shit.

I imagine myself with fear inducement and the power it comes with when watching those that oppose me crumble or freeze in dread. My opponents' looks, their frozen moments. They can feel what I want them to feel. Seriously, that's pure angst, But valuable.

We continue to learn this technique throughout the night until I get it. It took some time since I hadn't been using my quirk for months.

Stain then instructs me to use my fear inducement as he stands opposite him, and we face off. He flicks his dagger away, gesturing to the beginning.

I put all my anger, fear and every single intent to kill in a physical form, in which my eyes flash red, and a Ruby bloodthirst glow surrounds me.

"Good. Now when in a dispute, use the moments of anger and resentment to enrage your killing intent." Stain paces in a circle around me as he gives me a couple of tips.

We continued to go through a couple of scenarios to see if my intimidation would change, and it did. Luckily, stain taught me different techniques with knives and swords. Chizome thinks the gun should be the last option, yet he praised me for getting 'the job over and done with'.

Suddenly Stain steps towards the ledge of the building complex rooftop listening to the sounds of Tokyo city where we stand.

"What is it?" I ask as he continues to listen in silence. Without warning, he jumps down to the alleyway between the building we were on and the opposite. I groan at his sharp instincts to kill the closest hero nearby.

"Ugh, here we go again." I roll my eyes as I use my holo wings to leap down gradually. The dense city lights flicker on our left as I look, and Stain vanished.

Does he think his Danny Phantom cause it's getting on my nerves? 🙃😃

I saw his red wine cape from the corner of my eye, which meant he was using the back alleyways to find his next victim. I honestly do not know how he does it, though. It's like he's a bloody Police canine sniffing out drugs from a hippie's warn Volkswagen van.

I catch sight of him and sprint after him as he parkour's over boxes, and I do the same, following his every move.

Suddenly he freezes, causing me to stop before bumping into him forcibly.

"For fuck's sakes, no nose!

Sh." I say with irritation as he cuts me off and sniffs the atmosphere twice before slowly inhaling through his nose (first of all, what bloody nose😀), causing him to walk forward with caution. The crunch of his footsteps gradually grew silent as he decreased his speed, as we heard a murmur of voices in the night.
