I woke up to gentle sunlight streaming through the windows. Looking beside me, I see Niki snuggled up in the blankets. I tuck a strand of pink hair behind her ear and she blushes slightly. "God, you're so perfect," I whisper to myself. Niki murmers "not even close, you are the perfect one my love." I kiss her lightly on the cheek and her cheeks turn red. She pulls on my hoodie, nuzzling into my chest. I slowly raise a hand to her head and gently stroke her soft hair. Breathing in her subtle smell of strawberries and tulips, I drift back to sleep, thinking of how lucky I got with this beautiful girl.
