After that, instead of going in, Shinichiro and I made our way to the bike shop, his shop. Unlike the last time we were both here, the place looks more alive now. There's still no new signage outside but the inside looks neater than before.
He led me in the room at the back most of the shop. It was my first time in here and just like I imagined, it was an office. A simple desk, a water dispenser, a cabinet and a couch was inside.
He pulled me with him to the couch, immediately attacking me with a big embrace. I laughed and tried to get off him and just sit beside him but he didn't let me, making me stay on his lap. He adjusted my position, making me sit sideways and go back to hugging me. His face is pressed on my neck, letting out a small sigh after settling.
"Are you sure you're not hungry?" He asked me without moving. He asked me that earlier before going here, but I told him I'd rather stay with him. I hummed, nodding my head even though I know he can't see me.
"I prefer being here with you than back there with the others." I answered and then proceed to play with his hair again.
"Really?" He asked again. I giggled and nod my head as a reply.
Shinichiro leaned away from me, looking at my eyes. I smiled at him and he did the same after glancing down. All of a sudden he used one of his hands to take his scarf off. I watched him as he did, helping him a little too even though I don't know why he's doing that. It's still cold even though we're indoors.
He throw his scarf to the side, making me let out a small chuckle. Right after that he looked at me. I raised my eyebrows, asking him with my eyes. He raised his hand and reached for my own scarf, carefully taking it off as well.
"What are you doing?" I asked with the same smile still on my lips. I just can't take it off now after seeing him.
"These scarves are in the way." He said simply and completely take off my scarf. He threw it at the same direction of his own scarf and then hugged me again.
This time when he snuggled his face on the side of my neck, I had to pause and close my eyes as goosebumps arise on my back. I shivered a little, letting myself get used to it. The way his warm breath hits my neck makes me feel ticklish and warm at the same time.
"I prefer being here with you too." He whispered, his hold on my waist tightening as he pulled me closer. I let out a small breath as his lips gently graze over the skin of my neck while he spoke.
