Prom Dress Shopping

Genny's pov________________

The last 24 hours were painful. Damon and Stefan put me and Elena in the backseat of my car while Damon drove and Stefan on the passenger side. No one spoke a word.

I have always hated that. When my brothers are mad they don't talk.

When we got home we gathered in the living room. 

"Genny what you said back there, what is going on with you?" Damon asked.

"It always happens, whenever a doppelganger, you two fall in love and forget other people, me" I said "I mean, I know we all have different lives but I would like to at least still be apart of yours. We never spend time together, you both are always chasing after Katherine and now chasing after Elena. Sometimes, I don't care, but other times when I need you, your never around" I said. I refuse to cry in front of them.

"Why did you never say anything?" Stefan asked. 

"I just told you why" I said.

Damon lightly hit him in the head "Idiot" He muttered. 

"Ok, we will spend more time with you, how about we go down to the grill and have drinks?" Damon offered. 

"Tempting but I need to buy my prom dress" I said.

"Really you got to do that now?" Stefan asked. 

"Well thanks to that little adventure to hunt down Katherine, a person I use to consider to sister, my family, my friend, who is now a complete stranger to me, I don't know her anymore and besides, prom is tomorrow and I have nothing" I said.

"Go crazy" Damon said.

"I will" I said smiled and saw Stefan walk away.

I left and went with Betty because she also didn't have a dress. 

She tried on about 50 prom dresses until she found the right one. 

"Ugh this is pointless" I said looking through more dresses. I have probably tired on about 100 and we have only been here at the mall for about three hours. 

We saw Bonnie and Caroline "Hey guys" I said.

"Hey what do you think?" Caroline asked. 

"Care, it looks gorgeous on you" I said.

"You never got to say a proper bye Bon" Caroline told her. 

"V, I am sorry but Jughead needs me. I got to go" Betty said then left. 

"Ok" I said to myself.

"Have you found a dress yet?" Caroline asked. 

"I can't decide what I want" I said frustrated "Bonnie what about you?" I asked her. 

"I have mine already" She smiles at me. 

"That's good" I said.

"Your grieving that's normal" Caroline said.

"When I woke up the couch was on fire" Bonnie said.

"Oh" Caroline said.

"I don't know if I was emotional in my dream or if Shane was right, without his help I will lose control of my magic" Bonnie said sad. 

"No" I told her. 

"You need a night off from mourning and I am going to make sure you have it" Caroline said.

"Um, You look super hot by the way" Bonnie said.

"Oh good" Caroline said and we all laugh. 

"It sucks that my boyfriend can't be there but I love that prom is going to be with my friends and making memories. I know we are going to have the night of our lives" Caroline said.
