She pulled up into William's drive way. "I want you to get into the driver's seat. I'm going to go in there and I need to make a quick get away. Okay?" She unbuckled her seatbelt but Hemmo stopped her by grabbing he small wrist.
"What are you planning to do?" The boy asked. 'Jessica' just rolled her beautiful green eyes and smiled.
"Don't ask questions." She wasn't going to tell him why she needed a quick get away just yet. She plans to tell him everything at the end of the night, she knows he'll stay for all five destinations.
"Oh, Mary, baby!" The ginger sang, obviously high on something. She pushed past the short man and grabbed a baggie full of white powder. "Mary?" Again, she pushed past the short guy and ran out. "Are you stealing my fucking coke!?" She ran towards the car as she heard his heavy foot steps. Immediately hopping into her car, Luke drove off.
'Jessica' laughed while Luke drove, gripping the steering wheel tightly as his face had a scarce expression. That caused her to laugh more. "That...was...Awesome!" He shouted as he began to laugh. 'Jessica' laughed along and watched as the Australian seemed to let all that anxiety go. His eyes sparkled with the street lights as the drove past some. "What's next?" He asked enthusiastically.
'Jessica' picked at her manicured nails and smirked. "Our next destination?" She raised an eyebrow towards Luke. He nodded. "Destination two: Walmart." He turned to head to the nearest Walmart.
They pulled into a parking space and began heading in. "What do you need from here?" Luke asked as the fluorescent lights hit their eyes as they walked in.
"Got any money?" She asked him, ignoring his question.
"Yeah." Luke realised that he would be the one paying for whatever she's about to buy.
"Well, you'll be buying us food." She winked her bright eye at him and chuckled as they were nearing the thing she wanted. Luke just watched as she picked up two cans of spray paint. One black and one white. "C'mon." They walked back to the front to pay.
"A little late for spray paint don't ya' think?" The overweight lady behind the cash register said skeptically.
"Is it a crime to be an artist now?" 'Jessica' said sarcastically.
"Jessica..." Luke warned, if it's one thing this boy hated, it's conflict.
"That'll be $3.58." 'Jessica' dug through her back pockets and she found a five dollar bill. She handed it to the lady and grabbed the bag. She didn't need change back.
"Our next destination is wherever you feel like eating, kitten." 'Jessica' smiled as she tied the bag so the spray paint wouldn't fall out.
"I know a good diner..." Luke shrugged.
"It's only...two a.m." 'Jessica' looked at her phone for the time.
"Can you drive now? I'm getting a bit tired." 'Jessica' laughed, she never understood how people got tired this time of night. She does have insomnia so that has something to do with that.
"Sure, sleepyhead." They got into the car and 'Jessica' began pulling out. "You're gonna have to give me directions." She shrugged.
"Left." Luke watched as 'Jessica' gripped the steering wheel tightly and he knitted his eyebrows. He wondered why she was doing that but she seemed to relax lightly under his stare. He averted his stare to the road to make sure she was going the right way. "Left." She turned and he watched as the colorful lights of California passed by. "Keep going, uh, right."
"Ashton Irwin." Luke's eye widened when the words came out her soft lips. "You know him?" She asked Luke. Although, she already knew the answer to that question.
"Um, yeah." 'Jessica' smirked.
"Good." Luke sighed, she was confusing the hell out of him. Luke is tired, confused, and can't keep his eyes off the beautiful girl. He hasn't been able to take his eyes off of her and he couldn't read her. Usually Luke could easily tell what someone was going to do next...but not with her. I mean, he didn't even know her fucking name.
They sat in the diner and each looked at the menu. It was empty and some random tune was playing throughout the diner. "Darlings, what can I do for ya'?" 'Jessica' saw that the cuvy, blond, middle aged lady directed it towards Luke. She bit her lip, feeling slightly jealous but ignored it. She passed it off because Luke is the first person who has ever treated her as a person. But she would rather jump off a cliff than admit that to him.
"Can I get the burger and fries?" Luke questioned although he was ordering.
"Of course." The brown eyes waitress smiled before turning towards the girl. "You are so beautiful..." The waitress told 'Jessica'.
"Thanks. I just want the six piece chicken tenders with buffalo sauce." The waitress wrote it down.
"Any drinks?"
"I'll just get water." Luke smiled sweetly.
"Shirley temple, please." 'Jessica' smiled before the waitress walked off.
"What's after this?" Luke asked as the girl in front of him began taking off her jacket.
"Destination four my blond little friend." She showed extra teeth in her smile. Luke rolled his eyes, he should've known that she wouldn't tell him.
"I need to know." The Australian smirked and whined a bit. The waitress came back with the drinks and placed them down. Once she walked away 'Jessica' leaned foward.
"We have two more to go. This next one is going to be a little boring." She chuckled to herself. She had plans for tonight and she knew Luke would want to be apart of the plans.
"Okay, what are we going to talk about..."
"Talking will be for our last destination." She held her black nail polished finger to her lips with a wink of her eye. She was going to get Luke involved very much at the last destination. She sat back and smiled to herself.
