R.K's POV:

I reach the wall entrance and wait for the password enquiry. The flyback home felt long, and the whole argument with Dabi still boils my blood

"Passcode?" The automatic voice recognition inquiries.

"The Devil's Lettuce.

Access Denied. It seems that you are using a previous passcode. From 8 months ago.
The Passcode updates every two months for security purposes. If you have an inquiry or haven't been informed about passcode changes, take the front entrance." I groan in irritation and begin to walk around the block. Arriving at the front gate, the neon sign shines a magenta shade as it exhibits the club's name—The Vigil.

I stroll past the line as a guy complains about me cutting in line. Ugh.

"HEY, get at the back of the line! I've been waiting for 20 minutes," he commands, but I continue to walk to the front.

Henceforth, I catch sight of Xiao but realise Long has his body since his fangs are visible. He had the tablet that controls the computer scan and the staff he and Xiao used on the missions.

"Graphx, how was business?

Hey, Long, it was mentally tiring, but you know business is business. How's being bouncer for tonight?

I got the first half right now, and It's busy; I have to use the security scan for villains tonight. It's Underground heroes day today.

Oh yeah, Thursdays and Sundays. Well, I'm heading in; I haven't showered since we returned from today's mission, so don't come for me and the stench." I explain, and he lets me through a computer scan since I live here.

Long's POV:

"HEY! Why did he get to go through it?! He didn't even get a scan!" The guy complaining about R.K. earlier yells at me, and I know damn well Xiao won't like this guy.

"If you don't shut your mouth, I will shove my staff down your throat and eat you like a pig on a spit!" I threaten them as my eyes glow a shade of neon jade. The guy returns in line in utter silence.

R.K's POV:

I walk through as the music pumps, and it's DJ night tonight, meaning no live performances since it's Heroes night tonight, and they don't need to know the celebrities working here even though most know.

Casually walking through the busy tables, I notice Sashiko and Tana in the VIP section and walk towards Chantel.

"Oh, Graphx, you're back. How was talking with Giran?

It was... something. Also, who's going to have a meeting with Sashiko and Tana? I got to talk to them about this briefcase.

Triggers?" She suspects, and I nod as I lean against the counter; she gets a tray of drinks out and communicates through a communicator to notify the little monsters to come and collect.

Kendall and Luna saunter back from serving tables on the upstairs canopy, making me smile that they're helping out.

"Woah, R.K.- OW!" Luna whacks Kendell before he can finish his sentence and proceeds to remind him for breaking a VK rule.

-
Rule 4: When in a suit, you cannot say one's true identity—only alias.
-

"Shoot, I forgot. You didn't have to hit me that damn hard Spit Ball! But what I wanted to say is GraphX, when are you getting your suit updated?" Kendell queries, and Luna scolds at him for calling her 'spitball'. I interrupt their bickering and answer Kendell.
