"starting today all you've to do is ..behave" khainah slams her both fists on her computer table ,standing tall.
"Well you've to inspire" Saraf leans back in his chair.
They both ended up in an argument after khainah told him how she wants to work at a firm which is located in other state . And, well, Saraf realized how far she will be.
"It's a step to moving forward and ..upwards" khainah's tone hushed
"Good firms are here too" Saraf pointed
"I want to move"
"Well too bad because you can't"
" Saraf please!"
"You've never been out before, don't go crazy now "
"Maybe I need it "
Saraf looked straight into his eyes. They were his favorite eyes, maybe still are.
"When do you intend to leave?"
" In two weeks."
"Right" he stood up and buttoned his coat and walked away.
Khainah sighed. No matter how much she hated his leaving. He always did and she never stopped him.

"Stop being stubborn for once and look after your marriage" Khainah's mom voice blasted from the speakers.
Khainah's mom, still loyal to her late husband, and still loyal to being clingy to her only daughter.
"This marriage has no future. We only married cus dad wanted it"
"You're not to say such words."
Eyes rolled. And khainah wondered why is she still putting up with people who've always sacrificed her happiness.

After the online interview, khainah thought it was over for all other candidates because she will go no matter what. She needed to get out of this environment and move on from the heartache she's been with for a very long time now.

Saraf never in a million years thought how heartbreaking it would get. Her moving . It was always heartbreaking. Her moving forward. He thought about the marriage . He thought about the other guys that were with her. He thought how it got to his head every single time. How this all happened???

Somewhere far, khainah's mom, Mrs. Qarif, remembered how her husband gave his life for the welfare of the family and how he was supported by Saraf's father . He was there when they needed financial aid. He also helped them with their property management. Only in return he asked for a hand in marriage for their daughter . Whom, she thought was very lucky to marry Saraf. She has liked Saraf from the very start. He used to come with his father when he visited . How loyal was his husband to his boss. They all were happy. Until Saraf's step mother, Talia, stepped in the picture and their lives changed.

Throwing all her stuff in the suitcase, and working through the to-do list. Khainah is all set to fly tomorrow morning. She just wished Saraf would come for farewell. And she slept with a his thoughts, his words, his lingering looks and what not.
