scenario

muse a and muse b are two different powerful gang leaders and have done many things they can agree they aren't proud of. they'd had a mutualistic agreement which developed a platonic relationship between them which kindled into a romantic one. with time and on accident, they soon both found something that they could be very proud of...the kid that they'd both brought into the world, one that they both adored but even then they knew they both could never really be a happy normal family when both of them were involved in lives of crime that they were to deep in to just leave, but still for the sake of their attraction and their kid, they did all they could to make it work. however, a life of crime did take a true toll on a relationship and as tempers flared, angry words were spoken and bridges burned and left to never be crossed, person a and person b's relationship was doomed not to last. the passion might not have flickered out, but the tolerance for the arguments and fighting and secrets certainly had. after one particularly bad argument, person a had had enough and simply left. the only remaining contact between the pair was their child, who they agreed to co-parent with but any contact between that became scarce.

one day though, while handling some business affairs in their office, person a would get an unexpected and very sudden visit. followed by some shouting and arguing to signify a clear disruption, person a wondered who could've possibly been causing such a commotion buy moments later they got their answer when person b angrily burst through their office door." give me back my child, you coniving b-stard!" they shouted, angrily storming up to person a's desk and slamming their fists down on the table, fixating person a in a furious glare showing they were quite literally ready to raise hell if they didn't get their demands met and to have their kid back in their arms sooner rather than later.
