FIRST MEETING
Pedro and you met in a movie premier (Annihilation)
You are a friend of Elvira who shares the same taste for cinema as you are also a director and photographer. You had also participated in the film, as the cinematographer and were very excited about the red carpet and seeing your fellow partners.
You greeted Elvira and Oscar already inside the room.
"You look beautiful!" Elvira complimented you when she saw you in the dress you were wearing. Oscar had done the same, besides thanking you for helping in the movie.
The rest of the film crew came over to greet and celebrate the premier, always laughing and smiling. Already about to start the movie, everyone sat in their predetermined seats, you took your seat next to a well-dressed man who was very busy on the phone. As usual you would greet, but he seemed too jerky to listen to you, so you just sat quietly. A few minutes later, you got his attention somehow.
"I think i know you... aren't you _?" Pedro said, with a smirk, as he tried to guess your name.
"Uh yeah"
"Oh, you are Elvira's friend? I know you... nice films you've done" he said with his illuminated smile.
You frowned, already in tune with his spirits, "Have you seen them?"
He said giggling, "Of course! I loved every movie you made, you got me emotional in almost all" he giggled again.
You placed your hand in your chest, "Aww, that's so sweet of you, thank you, i'm glad they are enjoyable"
"Of course" he smiled one last time at you before the lights were off.
40 minutes into the movie, Pedro whispered close your ear, "My name is Pedro"
You whispered back, "Nice to meet you Pedro"
Both smiled at the gesture of shaking hands in the dark. His hand was warm, and yours wasn't.
"Wow your hand is very cold, are you cold? Do you need my jacket?" He said, still whispering.
"No, don't worry... i'm always this cold, very normal in me" you giggled.
"Oh" he smiled.
At the end of the film, and after all the photos and interviews. It was time for the celebration. Oscar tried to introduce you when he saw you leave the room together, very late.
"I guess y'all already met... but, Pedro this is _, _ this is Pedro" Oscar said.
"Very nice to meet you Pedro"
"Very nice to meet you _"
Both of you shaked hands laughing.
"Well, _ do you want us to take you?" Oscar suggested, Elvira interrumpted.
"Of course! She's my bestie!" Elvira came close to you and grabbed your hand.
"Okay bestie, let's go" you laughed.

Oscar, Pedro, Elvira and you danced and drank all night, sharing jokes and fun stories. But somehow Pedro couldn't get away from you. Didn't matter, you were used with how touchy Latinos could be, you were used to it. But something felt way more than that.
