Chapter 31 Bond

it was pitch black I could not see anything last I remembered I was at Mayank house and he came running towards me what am I doing here "Mayank Mayank Mayank " I screamed my throat out

" switch on the lights it's too dark here " I yelled  I was feeling shivers through my spine as if someone is watching me my hands were turning sweaty and I hate too admit but I am afraid of dark "Mayank are u there " I felt my legs shaking in  fear dark figures with faces crept out of the dark walls  "Rmeral "

"Wha..What is happening he..here" slowly the dark figures started to  move I immediately backed a step " Run Mridula " I begin to scramble down the dark path ,tears flooded my eyes out of fear I don't know where I am going I can't see anything all I am doing is running

I see something glowing maybe I can get out of this unknown place I ran towards the source of light there was a window light was shining through it and beside that there was a door I reached for the door knob shit the door is locked great Mridula great now how are u going to escape I quickly tried to open the window' open damn it open '  I turned around to see the black figures staring at me creepily they were near me

Dang it u bloody door i turned to see the door no more the door vanished the window also vanished where did it go I could feel the stares of the figurine I was trapped in a place unknown the dark shadows swirled around me 'Rmeral ' the figures started to whisper around me it was like I was in the middle of a torndo what is happening 'Rmeral 'Rmeral ' i closed my eyes from the shadows Rmeral '  I could feel the voice growing stronger I closed my ears  not able to bear the noise anymore some one help 'Rmeral' Rmeral 'Rmeral Rmeral' Rmeral Rmeral Rmeral Rmeral Rmeral

"Stoppppppp" I screamed on top of my lungs  I slowly felt the voices disappearing I opened my eyes and now I was in a dark room with a  large mirror and there stood me in the mirror well that was not me but my reflection it was wearing a white gown with my hair open and skin pale staring at me sadly suddenly it eyes turned dark black and blood started flowing through its eyes it stepped out of the mirror and came towards me and in an instant its hands were strangling my neck "some one help" trying to choke me "please help me " it said still trying to kill me I was trying with all my energy to push my reflection off

Leave me" I said trying to get rid of her hands around me "what did I do to u" it stopped squeezing my throat "Rmeral" it whispered "Rmeral What Rmeral Rmeral what" I asked "Rmeral " it repeated "Rmeral Emeral" I paused my eyes widened

"Emerald " I whispered in a croaked voice and immediately I felt white light hit my face blinding my vision completely

I opened my eyes and found myself in a bed I was back in Mayank house "Emerald" I immediately got off the bed "chocolate u r awake"  I bumped in to Mayank chest I nodded "how are u feeling " he asked "Mayank I need to go I will talk to you later" I said " u r not going anywhere " I turned around " huh?? " 

"I mean ur not going at this time see it's night time and it's not safe chocolate " he said I looked at the window it was indeed very dark outside "what's the time?"  sittings on the bed he picked up the clock and pointed at me "3:30 am"  he said" 3 am was I unconscious for this long ?" He nodded "yes"

I held my head "uh my head pains" was I sleeping from that long "yes sleeping beauty" Mayank taunted I rolled my eyes idiot "so would u come and sit beside me or do u want to stand there only " rolling my eyes I went and sat beside him  "what" I asked "u know at my 8th birthday I lost my family my parents along with my sister and brother passed away in a gas explosion that occurred in our house unluckily I was at school when I got to know about the news " he said the last sentence in a cracked voice I  could feel his pain when he said that "and that's why I don't celebrate my birthday " I felt my heart clench at his words tears formed in my eyes I very well know how it feels to not have parents and family "After 2 years at the age of 10 Mrs.khuranna adopted me at that time they were childless they were kind caring and gentle  they loved me very much or so i thought they did I finally felt happy that I had a happy family but soon this dream faded few months after jai was born ,after his birth my foster parents decided to return me back to the orphanage where I was adopted the only reason was 'blood related bonds are much stronger than any other bond " he looked at me with teary eyes I nodded to continue "than at the age of 14 I decided to leave the house and that day I remember I was about to leave but someone held me back a small hand  stopped me Mishti " he said smiling with tears "that day no matter how much I tried to leave the 1 year old held my hand firmly that was it I vowed to myself to protect her no matter what and always be on her side eventually The khuranna accepted me as their son they gave me their name and did a little bit charity by sending me to the school and let me stay in their house because anyways I was a teen I was going to get kicked out off the house after I became a major and that's what happened but by that time I already secured a small place in the music industry with my sheer work then at age 19 I was chosen by a company as their main singer and then I became who I am now " he completed I always thought playboy khuranna was one of those spoiled brats who lived on their dads money but I guess it was not the case
"Not many people know about this chocolate except the ones very near to me I know u must be thinking why I am telling u this because chocolate u mean to me alot more than u think " he wrapped his large hands around my small ones I stared into his eyes  " I know u will run away again but I love you chocolate I love you so much chocolate I never felt this in my life the Very first day I saw u I knew u were the one I know u also felt this please please give me chance to be always  beside you and protect u care for you and love u "by now we both had tears flowing down our eyes he loves me ???I don't know what to say I closed my eyes taking a deep breath I know am going to regret my decision "Mayank I " I could hear my heart beating so loud in my ears  "no chocolate don't leave me I know u are going to" he said in a cracked voice" please" he pressed his forehead against mine tears were running down our eyes we both were breathing heavily "I " I was about to say "please don't please I.. I.. I.." he continued bickering "I love you too" I said he paused "what what did u just say " I chuckled at his stupidity " I "  "-LOVE" "U " IDIOT I completed by now I could feel how happy he was his eyes lit up he cupped my face and kissed my flushed face
