The girl in the picture is supposed to be when Kally is still 11. As the story progresses, I'll switch to older looking girls.

Kally's POV

"Neville, wake up- wake UP!" I yelled, jumping onto my brother's bed, trying to wake him up.

"I'm up, I'm up." He muttered groggily as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. I stopped jumping and sat on the edge of the bed.

"We need to get to King's Cross today, remember? We're going to go to Hogwarts." I calmly reminded him, knowing that he had probably forgotten about it.

"It's today?" Neville asked, blinking wearily at me. Nodding my head, I said, "Remember to put Trevor into his cage. Breakfast will be ready in ten." With that, I left him to get ready. "Thanks Kally." I heard him yell. Grinning, I made my way downstairs to help Gran with breakfast.

"Morning Gran. Need any help?" I asked, walking into the kitchen. Gran looked up and smiled. She was waving her wand around, making things fly about. I ducked just in time to avoid being smacked by the frying pan. "Sorry dear. Would you mind setting the table?" She asked while pointing to a stack of plates. I nodded and got to work laying the table. The smell of bacon and eggs wafted through the air, making my stomach sound like a beached whale. Gran just chuckled and clucked her tongue at me.

"Is Neville awake yet? Have you reminded him about Trevor?" She asked as she started ladling the bacon onto our plates.

"Yes, gran." I answered. She nodded her head approvingly and went on to cooking the eggs. I made some toast and had just finished pouring orange juice into a glass when Neville appeared at the door.

"Morning Nan, morning Kally." He greeted as he took his seat beside me. "Morning sleepy head." I greeted back while passing him some toast.

Breakfast was a fussy affair. Gran was trying to make sure that everything was packed and ready to go. By 10.30, we were ready to leave. I had my trunk and and Orion, my owl in one hand. I checked that my messenger bag wouldn't fall off before grabbing Gran's arm for side along apparation. Neville was on Gran's other side. I felt the familiar feeling of being sucked through a tight and airless tube and waited for it to be over. When I could finally breath, I opened my eyes and found that Neville was wincing.

"You ok, brother?" I asked while patting his back. He nodded as he took deep breaths and finally stood up straight.

"Come on you two, let's go before the train leaves." Gran said as we loaded up our trunks on trolleys. We walked through the station, pass crowds of Muggles.

"Gran, how exactly do we get onto the platform?" I asked curiously.

"You see that wall between signs 9 and 10?" She asked, pointing to a solid wall. Neville and I nodded. "That there is the barrier to the platform. You just have to go through it." She explained. "So we basically walk through the wall?" Neville confirmed my suspicions. Gran nodded and looked at me. "Kally, would you like to go first?" Nodding my head, I walked over to face the wall. Looking over my shoulder, I saw gran give an encouraging nod. I took a deep breath and started walking, slowly picking up the pace. Orion hooted softly at me but I ignored him. The distance to the wall was quickly decreasing but I couldn't stop even if I wanted to. Just as I was about to hit it, I closed my eyes and waited for any kind of impact. When I didn't feel anything, I opened my eyes and found myself staring at a huge red and black train that was issuing out smoke. I looked around to see signboards saying '9 ¾' and 'Hogwarts Express'. I grinned happily, we were finally going to Hogwarts.
