IT happened. Thanos snapped half of humanity out of existence. Steve watched his best friend, Bucky, vanish into dust. Bucky's death changed Steve massively. Whenever Natasha would try to show some sort of affection to Steve, he would push her away, not allowing her to get close to him. Natasha knew that he was going through something tough, and tried not to think much of it, but no matter how hard she tried to brush it off, she knew, Steve had changed. Steve used to give off a fun loving, cute and serious sense. However, after Bucky vanished, he gave off a moody, angry sense, and was barely around. Natasha tried to focus on herself, like changing her hairstyle or reading more books, but it did not fill the hole in her heart, the old Steve.

Somehow, she felt like it was all Bucky's fault. Of course, that made no sense whatsoever, as he did not choose to be part of the unlucky half of the population that 'died'. She hated herself for blaming Bucky. She was in denial.

"Steve, babe," Natasha attempted to catch Steve's attention by calling him affectionately. Steve ignored her coldly, looking down at his newspaper. "Are you tired?"

No answer.

Natasha smirked and put her hand on Steve's back. "Cause I was thinking, you know, if you aren't too tired, we could have some fun-"

"Natasha, please, I'm trying to read the news," replied Steve dully. He did not move a muscle.

Nodding, Natasha sighed and felt her heart break a little bit more. It had been two months since the snap, and it had also been two months since they last slept together. Natasha, believe it or not, needed affection, despite her badass front. Steve had stopped showing her any sort of affection, and ignored her sometimes. However, inside, he was screaming to hold her in his arms again.
