Grabbing my coffee I headed to the door only to be encountered with a guy coming in with a mask. He headed for a small table in the back where a girl say typing away on her computer. Transfixed on his movements I watched as he pulled out a gun from his back pocket. Shocked, I started to take further steps back, but the girl didn't look scared at all. In fact, she was smirking!
He put his finger on the trigger, aimed and pulled. Streamers flew out of it, along with a stick that read "prom?" Was written in cursive with a black marker.
The girl screamed "yes", before taking off the guy's mask and kissing him straight on the lips.
I tried to get a guy to ask me, a certain guy to ask me, but the "want a price of gum?" Wasn't good enough. Besides, I'm sure he asked someone else already......... probably his girlfriend.
And she wasn't me.
