"-You will be doing your projects with your partners outside of school. It is due on the tenth of October, please have it ready by then. Thank you, class dismissed." Ms Lee ordered.Beginning of year assessments are the worst, one month in and a project already set? Right. Math class had just ended as Yoongi and Hoseok walked out, one behind the other. They'd been situated together since last week, all teachers had their own ideas of appropriate seating plans, and their math class was one of few with different teachers practically every time they turned their backs. Classic early academic year.
"Hey, we could do it at my place if you want?" Hoseok suggested, "How's five? It's alright if you're not free today, it's just that my parents are going out to meet up with their folks, so we'd be home alone. We could also practice our dance if you're up for it."
"Sure! I'll be there, just send me your address." Yoongi replied, about to walk away.
"Wait Yoongi! I don't have your number." Hoseok stopped him and giggled.
"Oh, right." Yoongi hid his face in his hands in a failed attempt to hide the rising red hue crawling to his cheeks. The corner of Hoseok's mouth twitched a grin before handing Yoongi his phone.
"Here."
"Thanks." Yoongi held the phone and opened a new contact, typing in his number and naming himself 'Yoongi :]'. When Hoseok took his phone back, he smiled and said goodbye to Yoongi, the one in question walking towards you awkwardly, knowing damn well you were watching absolutely everything that just happened.
"Hey," he uttered.
"UH HELLO? Did he just ask for your number?!" you whisper-shouted.
"Oh shut up, it's for a project. I'm going over his later today."
"OH MY ?!?"
"Seolhee. Shut up. Nothing is going to happen. No doubt he'll be too busy teaching me stuff I don't understand. Have you seen that man's grades? Insane. Imagine being a modern Einstein and being paired with someone whose only remaining brain cells consist of a thriving love for basketball and tangerines." he said, giving up his defensive stance. He was only being modest, his studio at Dare is literally called the Genius Lab.
You stifled a laugh and replied, "Don't worry, Yoongs, I think he likes idiots."
"Hey-"
"Hey!~ I'm pretty sure I saw him at Dare the other day when I was touring Jungkook. He was walking into a dance studio, rather fascinating but I couldn't exactly stop the grand tour." Seol cut him off, just remembering.
Yoongi was confused, "He's a trainee?"
"Seems as though. He does strike me for the idol type, don't you think so?"
Yoongi tilted his head and narrowed his eyes, "I guess so. He has the visuals for it. And my god, that does explain that man's skills, did you see him in dance last week? 'Similar experience' my ass... Anyway, can we go to the canteen? I'm hungry, and rather in the mood to steal half a bag of popcorn from you." He smiled innocently.
"Of course." Seol smiled back and flicked the back of Yoongi's head.

Yoongi fidgeted with his fingers under his sweater paws the entire way up to Hoseok's house. He'd just finished an hour of advancing across his bedroom with Seol on facetime, trying to choose what to wear. He decided on a loose-fitting dark grey hoodie and black ripped jeans; exceptional. It was a very relaxed outfit he bounded back to about a hundred times before Seol threatened through the phone for him to put it on or he'd call Hoseok and say Yoongi couldn't make it.
