Tadashi laid in his bed, his hand over his face, and the other laying on his alarm clock. He sighed deeply, and forced his exhausted body to heave upwards into a sitting position. He could hear faint noises from downstairs of his Aunt Cass moving dishes and preparing breakfast. Tadashi knew he hadn't gotten much sleep last night. Well, really at all for the past week. He had been up every night, thinking about one thing in particular.
He hated being Tadashi.
No one knew that but him. He was just so sick and tired of being Mr. good guy all the time. He was Tadashi Hamada- perfect looks, perfect heart, perfect soul. That's all anyone ever saw him as, and he had to go along with it. He never had time to make mistakes. He never had time to get angry or impatient. He couldn't be anything short of perfect, and he hated that with every ounce of his being. He was a human, and humans had emotions, and made mistakes, right? Well, maybe so, but he couldn't. At least, he couldn't let anyone know about them. Everyone he knew didn't truly know much about him. His friends at college, and his Aunt Cass. They all didn't take the time to truly love him for who he was. They never stopped to look at his mistakes and love him for them anyways. He was all alone, and no one even knew.
Tadashi shuffled his feet down the stairs, only one of his socks still on, and his shirt was on backwards. His mind hadn't been exactly 'in it' lately. Once he reached the table, and received a cheery "Good morning, dear!" From his Aunt, he started eating his pancakes. He didn't bother putting syrup or whipped cream on them like he usually did. What was the point? It was just food. He finished his breakfast, and started to go upstairs once again. "Oh, dear, you're not going back to bed, are you?" He heard his Aunt call up to him. Oh, how he wished he could. "No, I'm just going to get dressed. I'm going out today." He said, the sadness in his voice far from noticeable. "Oh, alright! Well, I'm going to go out and fetch a few groceries, okay? Be careful, and don't forget to lock the door on your way out!" Tadashi listened to his Aunt's worried voice. He knew she cared a lot about him, and he cared about her too. However... Something seemed so missing in his life. Like he needed something, or someone, to fill the hole in his chest. Maybe he was just thinking. Maybe it was just nothing. He thought about this until he headed out the door, locking it behind him.
