Hi my name is Roxie, I am 16 and I think I am in love with my best friend. It all started 3 years ago when I moved here, to Texas from England because my mom had been offered a new job, of course she had to take it and ruin my life. Until I met him. It was difficult for me, I had to leave everything and everyone behind including my ex boyfirend Will (who broke up with me because he couldn't handle a long distance relationship) to start a new life here in Texas. Little did I know that 3 years on I would have made a best friend and fallen in love with him. He was the only one who was there for me, the only one who understood and he just so happened to be my neighbor.
*flashback*
July 14th 2012
The day my life changes. Mom has just been offered a new job in Texas and of course she has to take it, note my sarcasm. I hate moving and meeting new people. As you can already tell I am really shy and I hate it when my mom makes last minute plans. I have just settled down with Will and now I have to leave.I hate my mom for making me do this, I really do.
"Roxie can you hurry up please, we are going to miss our flight!"
"Okay ghee's mom, give me time"
2 hours and 5 suitcases later, we finally reach the airport. I said my goodbyes to everyone and left. I couldn't face my self to look back. I am also very emotional and I'm not very good with saying bye. 9 hours later and we finally land in Texas, wow I don't think I am prepared for this weather but I could certainly get used to it. It was about a 45 minute drive from the airport to the new house, when we arrived my jaw dropped. It was beautiful and not to mention absolutely massive.I raced past my mom to get the biggest bedroom beens as she won't be spending much time here anyway, well that was a bad idea. The house is so big I got lost. I recited my steps back to the front door to find my mom and bumped into someone.
"Uh sorry, I was trying to find my mom."
"No worries, I came over to introduce my self. I'm JC and I am one of your neighbors."
"Roxie, nice to meet you" I greeted holding out my hand.
"Hand shaker are we? I'm more of a hugging person"
And with that he pulled me into quite possibly one of the best hugs I have ever had.I can tell from this day on we are going to be good friends.
