Anubis looked around with slight enthusiasm in his expression while his younger friends jokingly set up a ritual circle copying the exact symbol from what would seem to be an old tattered book. Each of the friends lit a candle that surrounded the circle, Anubis's friends each chanted a set of words that supposedly was to summon a creature now called "The Fallen". It was told the creature was forever banished from the heavens and to the darkest part of the Abyss.
To be thoughtful Anubis waited a full minute before he let out a gentle chuckle. "I did tell you guys that it was not going to work, Did I not?" He said in his deep yet charming voice. Anubis's friends glared at him then slightly laughed among each other. After everyone cleaned up and left Anubis's small cabin he let out a small sigh of relief. Surprisingly he was not what most would call social, it is quite draining for him which most find shocking when first meeting him. Anubis laughed under his breath then glanced around thinking to himself 'I can not believe I am about to do this...' He mumbled the fallen one's name three times then that is when his heart dropped. A cold breeze burst through the room, The wood plank floors creaked and groaned underneath of Anubis. In the window seal, the flame of a candle flickered lonesomely. Anubis quickly looked around 'Was that chanting?' He thought to himself as voices began to swarm the room, the voices were quiet and shrill as all they would repeat was the sentence "Padishy skoro prikhodit."
Anubis did not know very much Russian but from what he could make out was the voices saying "The Fallen one is coming soon." Now slowly becoming freaked out Anubis looked around the room in a hurry. If what the voices say is true Anubis will soon be visited by the creature, and it would also mean the book was right. 'But why? Why did it not work earlier?' He thought to himself questioningly. Then without the slightest sound, the candle's long-lasting flame was smothered out by a quiet brush of wind. Leaving the once lit room now struggling in the fears of the dark.
The voices started to become louder and the room seemed to be spinning Anubis held his head in pain and dizziness feeling as if the wall were now closing in on him. He stumbled back and slumped against the cold wooden wall clenching his jaws together, "God damn my head is going to fucking kill me." He said in anger. He looked up his head slowly began to seize the feeling a dark presence was now in the room he could hear his own heartbeat echoing in his ears.
