I can imagine laying in bed and getting the rest I am in desperate need of or even sitting on the couch stuffing popcorn in my face while binge watching my favorite anime of all time. People say it's a basic anime and that it's "overrated" but Attack On Titan will forever be my favorite but I will say the amount of times I've rewatched it is criminal and I'm surprised I'm not tired of watching it.
But instead of rewatching AOT or sleeping in my extremely comfortable bed I'm standing at my front door shivering from the harsh wind blowing past me. I sigh and stuff my hands deep into my pockets as I walk outside my apartment making sure to double check my door to see if it's locked. I turn and immediately am greeted by my best friend at the bottom of the steep steps.
"What took you so long? It's so cold out here."
I looked down at her while making my way down the steps, my hair already blowing in the direction of the ice cold wind. "Ah, sorry I couldn't find my other sock when I was putting on my shoes." I make it to the bottom and join Hana as we both start walking to school.
"Did you hear that Jungkook and Eunseo were seen kissing in the arcade yesterday?" She talks with her hands and takes slow steps. She furrows her borrows and looks to the ground biting her nails. "Do you think that if I dye my hair like Eunseo, Jungkook will want me too?" Tilting her head she reaches for my arm and holds on for more heat.
"Uh no, and where did you find that out?" Looking around I start to take in the white snow sticking to the ground.
When did it start snowing?
It must have started last night while I was sleeping.
"Do you know Daeun from school? While I was at the convenient store last night I bumped into her. She said she recognized me so I asked what school she goes to and she goes to ours so we got to talking. She brought up that she saw Jungkook and Eunseo together at the arcade after school and saw them making out on top of some arcade game." I turn my head to look at her and raise a brow, scoffing I adjust my book-bag strap.
"On top of an arcade game? Do they have no shame?" I make a face at the thought of someone playing that exact game after not knowing the activities that were just performed on it. "I'm sayin. They couldn't wait or something?" My brows raise as I look towards her in disbelief. "What? Why are you side eyeing me?"
"Let's be for real, you would do the same if Jungkook actually approached you."
"No.." she mutters, almost rolling her eyes at the sight of my shoulders shaking from the little giggle I let out.
After continuing to bicker with each other we round the corner and make it onto campus. I heave yet another sigh while seeing everyone pile into the buildings.
Once we make it to the gates a girl with very long brown hair turns to us and does a double take.
