Tira POV
"What's going on?" Isabella asked as she walked up to the house. I floated through the walls and doors until I got to where Derrick and crew were. I stared at the shattered something on the ground.
"Emma, you need to apologize!" Gilda whispered in a rush.
"No way! I didn't even do anything!" Emma shouted, getting mad. I was shook. Why was Emma so... not Emma?
"You did have it last..." Don mumbled, looking away from the group. I floated up to the pieces on the floor and stared. It looked like glass and paint? But there was a lot of glass though, so what was it? I peeked over at Derrick and saw that he was absolutely pissed.
"I can't believe you!" He shouted, glaring at Emma. "Even though you hate me that doesn't mean you can go around breaking my shit!" He said through clenched teeth.
"I didn't! I swear!" Emma shouted back, also seemingly just as mad as Derrick was.
"Norman, you got here earlier than me, what happened?" Ray asked, turning to Norman who was watching from the doorway.
"I don't know. By the time I got here it was already broken. The only people in the room was Emma and Don," Norman explained.
"Oh great," I mumbled, rolling my eyes. "Two people with different sides of the stories. Emma should calm down or else she's going to screw herself over."
"Exactly!" Derrick shouted, pointing and looking over at me. I blinked a couple of times. This was happening way too often now that it's actually getting kinda scary even though I'm a ghost. He didn't seem to realize he was pointing at absolutely nothing as he turned back to continue glaring at Emma.
"Emma." We all looked back at the doorway to see Isabella standing there with a frown on her face. Emma stood up from her weird angry position, already calming down or being so scared of Isabella that she stopped being angry.
"Mama..." Isabella walked in and looked at the glass on the ground, sighing.
"Don, bring me a dustpan. Norman, Ray, Gilda, keep all the kids away from here," she ordered, clapping her hands. Everyone left to do what she told and it was just the four of us left. It was a bit awkward being the only ghost here watching everything form the sidelines since I could just treat all of this like a movie, but I digress.
"Derrick, could you tell me what happened?" Isabella said, turning to look at him.
"This b-"
"Don't! Mama will literally run you through a forest and abandon you where you'll be starved and crazy and end up like those people on Naked and Afraid!" I shouted, smacking Derrick's arm. He jolted and glanced at me, but calmed down nonetheless.
"We were talking about art and how Ray wanted to visit the Sagrada Familia or see the Mona Lisa, so I brought up my glass painting I was making on the Sagrada Familia. He wanted to see it and since I had it with me I pulled it out. Then Emma just RAMS into me and it drops and shatters and here we are now!" I watched in shock as I saw Derrick holding back tears.
"No don't cry!" I panicked. We may have started out on the wrong foot but he's better now. A lot better and surprisingly really nice.
"I didn't! It was an accident!" Emma shouted back, looking troubled. Emma wasn't the type to just sabotage someone so obviously. She'd at least try and hide it, especially after showing how she didn't like Derrick at all.
Come to think of it, why did she hate him so much?
