Caitlyn spins her gun around her finger while she sits in her room, inspecting photos that she took from previous cases.

Jayce knocks on her door before letting himself in. "Hey. How are you feeling?" He asked with white flowers in his hands. She walks up to her friend. "I've had a break in the case." She said and grabbed her friends arm. "Shouldn't you be resting?" Her concerned friend asked. "While the trail is hot?" She said.

Caitlyn then takes the flowers out of Jayce's hands and throws it over by the table full of flowers. Listen, you know how I suspected there is a single mind behind the undercity's violence?" She asked. "The great conspiracy." Jayce said lacking enthusiasm.

"I think whoever attacked the square is our suspect. The same symbols showed up at the botched smuggling operation at the Hexgates." "The Hexgates?" Jayce asked confused. "Keep up. All this time, they've kept their dealings localized to the undercity. Low priority. The attack on the square changes things." She said before throwing an image of the monkey on the map on the floor.

"They've overstepped. If I can figure out who made this, it could lead me directly to whoever's behind it all. The answer's here, staring at my face. And I'm gonna start with this." Caitlyn said before pulling out another image showing the initial from the airship attack.

Handing the image to her friend, he inspects it before looking even more confused. "This is just a letter. It could have been carved into the ship a long time before the smuggling." He said. "Not possible. I did some digging and found out that there has been random killings in the undercity, almost all reports describe a letter carved either into wood, stone, or the victim themselves." She said pointing at the picture in her friend's hand.

"Only this time, who ever left that mark, left someone alive, but why?" She asked herself. "How do you intend to prove any of this?" Jayce asked after handing the image back. Caitlyn has a face of worry. "If I can just work this out. Marcus will have to listen." She said worringly.

"If there's one thing I've learned about the Council, they need more than just theories." Caitlyn scoffs at the comment. "Since when did you concern yourself with the Council's opinion?" She asked. He hesitates. "Sense I... became a Councilor."

Caitlyn chuckles at first, not believing the words that came out of his mouth. But this was her closest friend, the one she trusts the most, he wouldn't lie about that. The smile leaving Caitlyn's face.

"You're serious. When? Why? Have they discovered how to govern with grease and a spanner?" She said crossing her arms. "Ha ha." Jayce fake laughs at her remark. "I was actually hoping you might consider joining my staff."

He then hands her a small blue capsule, holding a piece of paper for her to sign. "House Talis Security." Caitlyn read the title. She puts the paper down, looking at her friend slightly angered. "That's a ceremonial position. I'd live behind a desk." She said unpleased. "You almost died, Cait. I just... I just want you to be safe." Jayce tried to reason with her.

Caitlyn aggressively hand Jayce back the blue capsule. "Thanks, but I already have a job." She then goes back to inspecting the map. "No. You don't." Jayce said before pinching the bridge of his nose. "After the attack, your parents spoke to the sheriff." Caitlyn groans at the sentence. "This is the best I could do." He said.

"I don't need charity, Councilor. Yours or my parents'." Caitlyn said feeling betrayed. "Cait." "Get out." Caitlyn said before letting Jayce continue.

Jayce simply does what she said and turns to leave the room. Caitlyn sighs at the outcome of the disaster that morning. The door closing behind her.

She sits there thinking for a bit, until her thoughts go back to the letter and how all of the victims had one thing in common, work for the one person but who. She then remembers all of the victims were killed except one and she knows where exactly to find him.

Caitlyn looks at one part of the map, The Stillwater prison.

The boat rocks side to side, heading towards the building on a rocky island. Secluded so no prisoners escape. The light above the building spins, shinning directly at Caitlyn every rotation.

After the small boat docks, Caitlyn walks up a flight of stairs before making it to the large prison doors, opening for her. Walking down the the long path, she finally makes it to the prison officer.

"I need to speak with one of the inmates." She said. "Oh, folks in here aren't usually very talkative." "This one was hit by friendly fire. He's got reason to talk. Must have been sent in today?" She said enthusiastically.

The officer thinks for a moment. "Oh, inmate 2135. Yeah, I'm, uh, afraid that's not possible." He said unsuringly. "Why not?" "Uh, well, there's been..."

A muscular pink haired woman walks up to the bald man eating his disgusting food, with a tray of her own in hand. The man looks up and recognized her immediately. "Wait." The bald man yells but she didn't give him the chance to speak. She smacks him on the side of the head, knocking him to the ground. "This is for my brother, you prick." She said before raising the tray high up and bringing it down hard onto the man.

"an incident." The officer continued. "What kind of incident?" Caitlyn asked. "The... not so pretty kind." "You don't understand, I have to talk to him." Caitlyn said desperatly. The warden chuckles. "Oh, you'll be able to. As soon as he can move his jaw again." "Who assaulted him?"

Caitlyn rides down an elevator, the numbers going to negative double digits, all the way down to level -40. The doors slide open to a really dark hallway of cells. Walking down the hall way, thuds could be heard further away but getting louder the closer Caitlyn got to the cell.

Walking to the cell doors, she notices a female inmate 516. Tattoos all over her body but her hands are rapped in bandages, her hair's slightly the same from before and she quite muscular. The inmate stops punching the concrete wall, out of breath.

Sweat dripping down her neck, the inmate looks over to Caitlyn. "Who the hell are you?" Vi said.

In the undercity, two of Silco's men screams could be heard from a dark alleyway, silencing them once sounds of slicing flesh is heard.

A figure walks out into the lit city, a grey hooded cloak covering his identity. The man then hides his twin bladed, curved upward, bloodied, daggers into their sheaths behind his back under the cloak.

There are some features about him visible to the crowded city, his height making him look 5'10" and he wears black shin high boots, his light brown pant legs tucked into the boots. On each mid outer thigh are throwing knifes strapped to his legs. He wears a light blue in some areas and the rest a dark blue colored jacket with a white shirt underneath, both sleeves rolled up showing the leather cuffs on his wrists. On the back of his right hand are words tattooed, names of two people, 'Vi and Pow-Pow.'

The cloaked man walks through the city streets with his head hung low.

After a while, he makes it out of a cave, opening up into a huge cavern.

He walks by a big neon lit sign of a symbol that looks similarly to an eye. The man walks up to a ledge right next to an old water tower that was built further down, he parkours down onto the beams that holds up the water tower before landing on the ground with a big thud, dust flying due to the impact.

He stands up and looks out to the foggy darkness, seeing rows of tents and scared hungry citizens in old ragged clothing. The boy sighs and turns to walk into a small rundown building.

He closes the door behind him and pulls his hood off, revealing his scar on his cheek, his spiky, pink tipped and blue rooted hair and tattoos on his neck that go down his back to become a bigger tattoo.

(Y/n) looks over at a wall in the back part of the building, old drawings made by the two twins when they were younger. He takes his cloak off, showing the leather pauldron on his right shoulder and the twin bladed daggers making an X on his back.

He lies down on his back on the table, thinking about his sisters, how one of them could be long gone and the other he could be getting close too soon. Thoughts of the three of them that night on the roof, Vi telling the twins the group's story, play in his head. The boy smiling.

He starts to get sleepy, his eyes getting heavy. "I'll find you both." (Y/n) said before he falls asleep on a very uncomfortable table.
